Go with patience.

I got the most bang for my buck!

The desk person had to troubleshoot internet problems in order to complete the booking process which was initiated on booking.com. That caused an uncomfortable delay of about 15 minutes before I could get into a room when I was tired.

I got what I paid for, but it made me realize that I'm willing to pay a little more for better.

I really liked the location of the hotel, it was far enough from craziness but close enough that I could find a bus ride anywhere I went. It was also quick and easy check in so that was a bonus. Plus the free parking is always nice.

I mean you're getting what you pay for so it's hard to complain too much. But the place didn't feel clean at all, and smelled most of the time. I struggled to get hot water from my shower which sucked. Because of the smell and stinginess I just never really felt clean there.

Pillows were flat and hard. Only 3 for a king bed. Not very comfortable. Noise from traffic kept us up. Also noise from front desk, and people in other rooms. Not a good experience.

The location was good. Not too far from Disneyland. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rates were great.

Uncomfortable and small beds, dirty bathroom, mold falling from fan in bathroom, room was freezing and we had no control over temp, vent was broken and couldn't adjust it to close it. Facility was dirty as well. Old and run down everywhere and everything.

It’s clean in a sense that you have good cleaning services, but the room had a lingering cigarette smell and is a bit outdated. Gave me a “been smoked in since 1990s” to be honest. No offense lol.

Very Simple and Cozy; Fellow guests may pose problems

Being right on Orangethorpe was a huge plus. The hotel is also only a short walk away from Fullerton station, making it easy to get into LA for an affordable price. For the price, the hotel was about what I expected, and then a little extra. Rooms were clean if a bit dated, and some parts (like the hotel) were freshly renovated. Beds were surprisingly comfy, and staff were, of course, friendly and warm. Had no issues during check in or check out. As we didn't stay in our room very much aside form needing to sleep, the room met our needs.

Some outlets had issues holding plugs, there is no thermostat or AC to control the room temp, but the room stayed at a comfortable temp. Fridge was... unplugged? I had to plug it in which wasn't an issue for me but goods could easily spoil if you bring back leftovers and don't know the fridge is unplugged. Towels and rags felt somehow worse than the usual, but nothing too concerning there. However, we had an issue where we heard some kind of dispute in the hallways in the early mornings which was... shocking and a bit scary. The shouting persisted for a few hours, and I felt compelled to lock our room for safety. The following night, the police showed up to the hotel to apprehend and escort someone out which was also very scary. I don't know what was going on, but it seems hotel attracted a concerning crowd for some reason. This of course isn't necessarily the hotel's fault, but just something to keep in mind.

The staff were above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Especially Michael from the front desk, he was very approachable, he catered to my every need, he made sure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible.

Didn’t even get to go into the actual bedrooms. Hotel smells like cigarettes as soon as you walk into the hallway leading to room. Rooms were not ready at check in (employee gave us room keys and were not ready/prepare for visit). Stairs are a very lose (can be a safety hazard). Parking lot was very sketchy.

Fair value, but I wouldn’t stay here with children

It was very close to lots of fun things like downtown Disney and the garden walk. Couldn’t beat the value for only $99. The room didn’t have any bugs in it and it was dingy, but not super dirty.

There were cockroaches in the parking lot however I did not see any in my room. I would’ve liked the room to be a little cleaner the towels looked worn in the bathroom sink wasn’t clean

The a/c didnt work and the reception gave us a fan and did not offer to switch our room . The phone in the room did not work to call them. The carpet was ripped but sown together while also being very dirty. Will never come here again.

Very bad, didn’t even sleep good because I felt unsafe for myself and my children

Owner was rude barely spoke English, hard to understand, not to mention as soon as we exited our room he was standing right outside. Very creepy, later in the evening a lady (staff member) was knocking on everyone doors. (Very unprofessional and made my kids feel uncomfortable) overall felt like I made the worse decision in having my children sleep there. No deadlock on the door, string to window looked like someone was trying to break in from previous stay. I would not recommend this place to keep children at, spend the extra money and keep your children in a more safe and clean environment. I will not be staying here ever again, lesson learned

It was not what I expected.

Good location

No breakfast, I asked for housekeeping and they never came. I was told $280 for 4 days before taxes and it came out to almost $380 after taxes which is crazy. My couches were stained.

Sojourn in Fullerton

The motel was quite a satisfactory place to stay as the room was very clean and quiet with a very helpful front desk staff. There was a shopping Centre near by along with several restaurants. There was a bus service close to the motel.

The shower was quite dated and the bath tub needed a rubber mat.
