I wound up leaving after about 30/45min of being there bc I needed toilet paper snd get as having to do the whole kn

There was no one at the desk as of 10pm and the wind blew my room door shut in between getting my things from the car to bring in and I had to knock and bang and ring doorbell for a very very long time & it was freezing cold but to finally get someone to help me but instead of unlocking my door they made me move to another room. Which was just very inconvenient and a hassle after working all day and being ready to relax in the room. I think the office should’ve had someone On site 24hrs a day.

Incredible!

We have stayed at this property several times over the years. It is a wonderful place. The history is fascinating. The workers are fabulous. The connected Talbott Tavern makes for a great place to relax at the end of a day of exploring. The second story porch is so much fun to sit, relax and have coffee in the morning or a drink at night. The breakfast, that is included, is so good. The dinner menu has a great variety of items to choose from and the food is delicious!

I liked how close it was to everything

AC was old and couldn't keep up cooling the room. Multiple spiders found in the room. A bar of soap was left behind in the shower by a previous Tennant of the room and had a big giant black pubic hair in it. Room smelled a bit like mildew which a better AC unit could've helped with. Old chairs in the room were beat and uncomfortable to sit on.

Pleasant, enjoyable visit!

Excellent location across from My Old Kentucky Home State Park, nice swimming pool with pretty landscaping around it. Inn is pleasant & quiet, very clean & comfortable, free WiFi, continental breakfast. Friendly staff. We walked on sidewalks about a mile into the historic district of town, so it was convenient for either a short drive or a long walk into historic downtown Bardstown. Excellent value!

Beyond expectations

The rooms were exceptionally clean and looked recently updated. The beds were very comfortable. Not what I expected for the budget price we paid. Very pleasantly surprised.

Great location and excellent value

Excellent location with regard the major distilleries in the area. Clean, not crowded (Feb) with friendly staff and great rates. Beds were firm which was fine for my group. Pillows were soft and the heat worked well on sub-freezing temps. Bathroom was clean and water was hot. Will definitely stay again when I come to hunt bourbons.

I honestly have no complaints for the price paid. If I had to nitpick, I'd point out there are only two receptacles total by the beds. I always travel with a power strip so I can power my phone, earbuds, watch, and power bank, so this was not an issue for me.

Staff walked into my room without knocking and did not seem apologetic at all and we still had an hour til checkout. Staff made me very uncomfortable and would not stay again due to those reasons.

The rate was good and the room was okay enough. Pleased that the flooring was not carpet.

Seemed like a shady location. No blanket on the bed. Just a sheet and light comforter. Bed was a little hard. No breakfast as advertised (but the check in person did offer to get us some cereal and milk).

Did not have breakfast. It is an old hotel, but good for the price. Manager was helpful in putting in new light bulbs in the room, but the phone did not work and the heater had trouble heating the room
