Convenient location. Property is always clean. Always feel safe at this location.
Can’t say there is anything we didn’t like.

This was our first trip to Bardstown, and the staff was incredibly helpful with suggestions on things to do in the area. While we were sitting around one of the fire pits, the lady working at the check-in desk came out and started the fire for us, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
My only suggestion would be to install curtains that fully cover the windows. It felt like people walking by could see into our room.

The location was perfect if you're looking to do the Bourbon Trail...
We loved hanging out at night around the fire with a cocktail in hand, talking to other guests about what adventures they took during the day.

Staff was beyond great, helped out over and above! Friendly, nice. Loved the outdoor area. Never spend much time at hotels when we stay there, but really enjoyed it!
Only downfall was the bed. Too soft

We loved how it was retro-fitted with modern appliances but staying true to its 60s-70s motel origins. Keeping the original window styling and lavatory tile and retro looking sink made it feel so awesome to stay at. The modern appliances also made it luxurious to stay at, especially with the smart tv. A lot better than most standard hotel rooms. The mattress and sheets were also soft and truly comforting as well. The room was also clean and well restored with quality, not just cheaply thrown together.
There wasn’t really much to dislike, everything was exceptional.

This was a cute retro motor lodge. You can walk to the cute Bardstown area from the motor lodge. They have a fire in the fire-pit in the courtyard. All rooms have a fridge and keurig. The staff were friendly and the room was clean.

Location was great and the room was very clean. It is somewhat modest but very clean and comfortable. The full size Keurig was great!
The room was sparse and the blinds were a little cheap.

The style of the lodge was great. We loved the courtyard and the bar.
The first night, our room did not have a remote for the television. I'm not sure where they were. The staff gave us the one from the lobby. Also, the batteries in the smoke detector went off every few minutes. The staff fixed these issues right away. Thanks for that!

Location was good.
Septic backed up into the shower. Had to move rooms. Went from a King Suite to a double room. I was told by the receptionist that were going to comp part of the price. My receipt showed I paid full price for the king suite without any discounts. Not a good way to do business.

Where was the breakfast? Was it in the same "magical" place as the smores?!?
The room was fine except for the musty smell that seems to come with all older buildings like this one that have been remodeled. Space was good and the retro feel was fun.
It was a nice, quiet stay until Friday night when the couple in the next room started fighting. After the guy hit his girlfriend in the face, they decided to take it outside of our window. Not the best way to get a good night's sleep before traveling the next day.
The tub cover was a little un-nerving as it bubbled and popped beneath our feet.

Everything the grounds are very well manicured, and the garden is very calming and peaceful. Our rooms were amazing. Once I figured out how to work the coffee machine always good. I really appreciate you people and the two ladies that helped get me there and I thank you for all your hard work dedication and commitment in helping me and my family get to Kentucky. It’s just sad and it sucks that we didn’t get to spend the whole entire time. It would’ve been fine, but you will be seeing us soon and thank you for everything and I highly recommend this hotel to anybody, and to me the ambience of it all it’s five star
There is nothing to change

The bed was so comfortable, 2 different pillows for each to choose.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Enough parking spaces.
Everything was fine, except one thing like other people wrote before me:
The window-blinds should cover better. There is shinning a lot of light into.

Loved the retro vibe. Comfortable beds. Fire pit area was a nice addition. Restaurant adjacent was excellent.
Our room was extremely bright at night due to a large floodlight outside the back window and the light by the front door. We had to rig up sheets over the glass to help make the room dark.
