Better than Motel 6, but wasn't Hapton Inn.

Perceived value.

There was a periodic machinery noise. After 11:00 I contacted desk; several tries. Ended up changing rooms to a different wing. The desk staffer KNEW about the noise because he'd stayed in that wing to keep working during a snow storm. So staff knows about the issue but doesn't address it, only reacts to a complaint. So two rooms to clean. TV remote didn't match up with set in the second room. Too late at night to care.

The location was great for what we needed. The property is older, but well maintained.

The value was excellent. I booked through a third party site and got a room for under a $100.

A pool would have been nice for the kids, but the restaurant area was fun with the pool table, darts, and video games.

Room was stuffy upon arrival and there was a leak in shower head, that mad a mess. We arrived late in the day so forgot to report that. We dealt with it instead.

The rooms are nice and big and the hot was nice and hot. Very clean

The elevator door would not close on the third time it did. The shower was not draining right. Late in the night could people slamming doors but it quite down right after that.

great for a couple night's stay

The location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and satisfying and glad it was available. Great prices.

Facility needs some attention. My family had to change rooms because of the loud A/C upstairs. My A/C stopped working the first day and just made loud noises. I had to turn it off. They offered to change me but it wasn't that warm (just humid) so I dealt with it. The filter on the A/C was filthy and clogged with dust. Probably the same in all rooms. Toilet lids would not stay up because of the placement of counter over toilet. Definitely showing it's age. There were no lights on the desk or far side of room making it really dark and difficult to work from the desk.

Great stay at a great value

The location is great. The hotel sits right outside Wright Patterson AFB, and is only a few miles away from the Wright University Nutter Center. Great option to stay if you're looking to participate in the annual Air Force marathon. Packy's offers a great breakfast, and happy hour-type drinks. The facilities are a little on the older side; however, equipment was generally in good working order and clean. Decent sized fitness center that's clean and in good working order.

The elevator is temperamental... You have to press and hold the close door button in order to prevent the elevator door from continually re-opening on the same floor. Small work around, but manageable.

Plenty of parking and just outside the gate to WPAFB.

I was traveling with my dog. The website stated "charges may apply" so I called directly to the hotel to ask what the charges might be. The woman responded that there would be no additional charge; however, when I arrived at the hotel I was informed that an additional $75 charge would be added for the dog. NOT dog friendly!!!

room has a good space and it was clean. They honored the crib request, and it was already set up when we got our room.

Just one elevator working. One employee called us at 11:30 pm, asking about the reservation we made. This is not a time to perform those calls. I had a baby in the room. they woke up everybody!. Breakfast was not included, for that price you can get a hotel with it included.

It’s a convenient location, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are sufficient, dated but clean.

It’s dark in the parking lot, the lighting in the room is dim. The tv reception is fuzzy. Everything works it’s all just dated.

The banquet facility was great for our gaming convention Debra from the restaurant was awesome.

The shower lacked water pressure The TV did not turn off. The remote worked for channels and volume but would not turn it off. The food was lack luster One elevator worked The working elevator door would open and close 2-3 times before the elevator moved. For north of $140 per night this was subpar

Great location near Dayton and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, welcoming to all!

The location was convenient for a stopover while driving through Dayton. As a military retiree, I like to stay on or near bases when possible. Was surprised to see this on Booking.com but when I arrived the unique nature of the facility was clear and made sense. I liked the tributes to Bob Hope and his support of the military and the USO as well.

For the non-military retired traveller, it might be good to be a little more inviting with the location description, and point out that it is just outside the gate and that you don't need to go through security. The facility was clean and desk staff was helpful, but there were small signs of neglect of the facility and the restaurant felt a bit sub-par by industry standards. None of that affected our overall stay, and we would certainly stay there again!

They don't make it clear that the business is almost on a military base. If you put the address in the GPS, it leads you to a closed off gate to a military base. Poor signage to find the place.
