Bed uncomfortable. Squeaks. Woke up everytime I moved. Towels were not soft at all. Breakfast marginal. Front desk help not helpful to someone that’s never been there before.

Under construction, the smell was horrible, it was nauseating and caused us headaches..Unable to book another room somewhere else because everything was booked for Valentines Day.. Extremely disappointed and embarrassed for having made these reservations for my wife..

Disappointed. I booked this for some friends and my husband and me. I felt very embarrassed.

The hotel was having major renovations which we were not told about. Many facilities were not available but we were still charged full price. I think we should be refunded at least some of the cost of this hotel. This was a special trip for us and the hotel was a big disappointment. I have booked through Booking.com many times previously but never had such a poor hotel.

Renovations. Builders with noise and dust 8am to 7pm No pool or fitness centre. Breakfast area in a por meeting room. No carpets or floor covering in corridors.

Overpriced

Nothing in particular

Overall condition sub-standard; the AC was so noisy that I had to switch it off to be able to sleep, in the morning was raining and water was coming through the window on top of the AC unit. We were charged $75 for pet fee which is outrageous to say the least, together with the car park fee (as if there was a different mean than a car to get there) we ended up paying 30% more of the price at which we reserved the room. Just over $400 for a night is excessive considering the overall experience.

The ripped wallpaper in the hallways, the dirty carpet throughout, the child size toilet, no reasonable sized garbage pail, the bathroom sink pours water everywhere, the pool was closed and there was no hot water to take a shower.

I like the location and cleanliness

Our shower did not have hot water and the tub did not drain. We arrived at 11pm from a long drive and hike. We needed to take a shower because we have to leave early. Roger from night audit initially told us we can move to another double bed rm to shower but it was not available and kept apologizing. We suggested if he can let us in to a vacant room (it was a king) to shower and he found one on the first floor. It was not the most convenient start of our stay but we appreciate roger for very accommodating and going over and beyond. He was the only good thing that happened during our stay. Now when we checked out, this rude agent questioned why our name was in room 119(?) i told her we showered there for a bit last night but slept on our original room on the 2nd floor. And she said “great job roger now we have 2 rooms to clean”.. i was ????!!! inside. I thought, you do not speak to a co worker like that let alone in front of a guest. Is that what the company culture is? If there’s any one who did a great job, it was the night auditor. The morning agent pissed me off. She did not even do the checkout properly, i told her to split the bill between my friend and I but she still charged the whole amount to my card and had to reverse it. She ruined the “almost” so-so stay by saying the most unnecessary comment to Roger. As a guest it turned me off how employees treat each other in this hotel.

Overall a good experience 😊

Great location. Near shops, grocery stores, restaurants. Has a cozy atmosphere in the lobby and breakfast area! The staff was sweet and helpful when we were running behind on checking in :)

Our bathroom vent was broken, so if we showered longer than 5 minutes, it got steamy and stuffy, which isn’t ideal. Also, the beds were too firm, which hurt my back a bit,and the pillows were flat if you laid in them too long (like over night)

The first morning at the breakfast bar it was real busy. No where to sit. But the staff attending was very rude she made some unappropriate remarks I didn’t like. So we took our food back to our room and ate there The next day was much better not as many people and different staff The food was petty good for a buffet.

Loved the optional room cleaning service! All I normally do is plop on a bed and sleep. Staff was very friendly.

Waking up in the dark bathroom in the middle of the night with a GIANT cockroach crawling across the floor! It went down the toilet with else! $11 candy bars. $17/night parking fee for.......? This was over the top gouging.

The property is showing its age, like an old Vegas hotel. Repairs to walls can be seen, carpets are getting wear patterns etc. it’s still a decent place, but for the price paid I was expecting a “fresh” hotel.

The stay was fine, it was the refusal to except the booking price that made it frustrating.

Convenient to town.

They wouldn't accept the booking price. Since I said I could pay onsite, they made me pay their full price. They wouldn't let me go back to the booking.com link and pay online. It cost me $40+ more than your quoted price. "3rd party issue"

The hair dryer was broken. There was no rod for the toilet paper holder. The hotel seemed tired and shabby. I was charged an extra $17 a night for parking, which was not mentioned when booking. It was a very expensive stay for an under par hotel.
