Great place.

The room was very large, had a nice small fireplace. Although fake it still was very nice. Large TV, great shower refrigerator and microwave coffee. It was a full package, very nicely done. The garden walk and a fire pits outside were amazing. Had a lot of an enjoyment.

Nothing we enjoyed it all the way from the gardens that you could walk in to the room.

Unpleasant stay

The location was good. We weren't near the busier sections of Sedona, but close enough that we could drive there easily. Less than 10 minutes to some scenic locations and 20 min (with traffic) to Tlaquepaque, where their restaurants and stores were.

Unfortunately, there were many things that kept the experience at Lantern Inn from being pleasant. 1. The heated electric fireplace wasn't working; we had to rely on the A/C unit which takes a while to spin up 2. The center of the our room had an open skyscape which lets light in, but the blinds inside it was broken, so it let too much light in 3. Our door code was reset the second day. We couldn't get in. We were lucky the staff who knew how to reset the code was there, through a complicated process that only she knew. She explained that due to two people trying to book the same day, the system thought we were checking out a day earlier, and reset our code. 4. They didn't clean our room during our stay, maybe due to the glitch, but for some reason they came in the room and opened our blinds. We had to ask for fresh towels the second day and the bathroom toiletries. 5. The floor was dirty, the carpet was wet for some reason

A perfect getaway location. Clean. Near most everything you'd want to see and do. We shall return.

We really enjoyed this facility and wish we had more days to stay. It was clean and cozy. Loved the fireplace. The location was also great and was in the middle of everything that we wanted to see and do. We'd like to return in the future.

The front door didn't close properly and we had to use a lot of force to close it. All of the windows and doors were open when we checked in and there was a cleaning rag in there so we weren't sure if we arrived in the middle of the room being cleaned. Not big negatives and they didn't detract from our stay. Just something to maybe correct for the next time.

Good location, but not as convenient like hotels.

Bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed including microwave. Chatheline was very sincere and helpful, when I went to visit office for help.

Office hours are limited. Check in after 7pm was instructed on whatsapp, which caused churns on door lock as the key neede tips to close. Did not receive response on whatsapp on questions even during work hours.

This is a nice place but disappointing for the price we paid.

The garden was very nice and the rooms were clean. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable.

The noise at night and the lack of management / security to keep the noise down. We sent a message to management and didn’t hear back until the morning. The size of the room was very small and my suitcase was in the bathroom.

Perfect place to stay in Sedona.

The Lantern is a pretty little inn in Sedona and we were met with a warm welcome. Our beautiful room was on the ground floor with a little patio area to sit out if you wished. The room had all you could ask for and was quiet and comfortable.

The bed was rather high. I’m 5ft 5ins but struggled to get off and on!

Lantern Light Inn Peaceful location

I liked how the environment was quiet and romantic. There were no children, it was peaceful. I love the outside setting with the hammocks, fireplaces, how there are lights to light it up at night, it was like a serenity spa. We met the owner by accident, and he introduced himself. He was really nice so down-to-earth I didn't even know he was the owner. And he recommended a restaurant (The Hudson) for us to go and that restaurant was amazing and we took amazing pictures as well.

A romantic boutique hotel

This is a perfect boutique hotel for a romantic getaway. It is full of trees, greenery, a decorative stream, decorative iron gates and fences with foliage, flowers, and hummingbirds; small sculptural fountains; and atmospheric night lighting. Nearly even few rooms has a semi-private outside seating area in the greenery, with a decorative gas fire pit. -- Every few rooms have a different layout. My room décor was contemporary Southwestern style with driftwood color tile flooring, with a fully tiled bathroom and shower, microwave, refrigerator stocked with beverages for a fee, Keurig coffee maker with free coffee pods, and a four-poster bed. Some rooms have ensuite kitchen sinks, as well as sliding glass doors to the patios outdoors. The staff is friendly and responsive, as well as helpful about points of interests, attractions, and local restaurants. -- Note: Breakfast is not available, but many places are close by and even walkable. -- Highly recommended. We will be back when we visit Sedona.

It was all right

There was no breakfast

The keyless entry did not work. We were not able to get in to our room upon arrival, no staff after 7pm Eventually it was resolved remotely. The same issue continued the next day. Staff very friendly, called the number on the website and got help right away.

Somewhat worth it

It is quaint and beautiful! I loved the swings in the courtyard and the bed was phenomenal.

Patrick made it seem like a very big deal to ask for a later check out since we were only staying one night and gave us an extra hour (11a). We paid $325 for one night, I expected at least noon. Also we paid about a month in advance. When I was checking the amenities the day before I saw the same room for $135/night so wait until last minute to book this place!
