The Sacred Feather room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated on theme. We enjoyed our two night stay. Amenities were unexpected and appreciated…how often do you check into a room and have a loaf of homemade bread waiting. Option to have breakfast served in our room was great, as was the food. Common areas were comfortable and plentiful. We enjoyed the private hot tub on our balcony after hiking Devil’s Bridge. Parking was easy. We will be back!

Our stay at The Inn at Thunder Mountain was perfect!!! We stayed in Moonlight Shadow which is up a flight of stairs but totally worth it. We arrived to warm fresh bread and a clean, welcoming room. The breakfast prepared by Chef Robert was amazing. Water and snacks available for daily hikes made getting out the door a breeze. We soaked our sore muscles in the private hot tub one evening and it really helped. I highly recommend this place as the location is convenient, staff amazing and the bountiful breakfast.

The staff was amazing. The service was incredible. Super thoughtful with a bread maker, and all the things you need. However, the Santa Fe room didn't have a door to the bathroom which is less than ideal. Worse was the room above it which had either a guest who herded cattle in their hotel room for a living, or just couldn't sit still at all hours of the night. It was unbelievably noisy and impossible to sleep. Again, staff, incredible. I sincerely appreciated them. But that particular room I would never stay in again. Worst vacation night sleep in a very long time. Location is good. Not a lot to walk to, but great hiking trails not too far away, a short drive into town. All in all we were happy. Just wished we could have slept.

We had the Moonlight Shadows room and it was comfortable and cozy! The place has everything you would need including snacks, soda, water and delicious breakfasts from chef Robert. Our private hot tub was warm and relaxing after long days of hiking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Don't hesitate to book this property! We stayed in the Sacred Feather room for the perfect couple's getaway. The pictures do not do it justice. The amazing view of Thunder Mountain with the convenience of a hot tub on the balcony sealed the deal. The balcony seats are upgraded from what's pictured, making having breakfast on the balcony even more enjoyable. The property was beautiful and well-maintained. The staff was excellent and very hospitable. The room was well stocked with beverages and snacks. You can also grab things from the lobby as needed (coffee pods, teas, water, etc.) outside of office hours. The fresh breakfast provided was delivered to our room timely and was delicious. We love Sedona and wanted to treat ourselves to something different from a chain hotel or resort. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our surroundings. The Inn at Thunder Mountain exceed expectations, and we look forward to staying again!

Near some awesome trails for hiking, close to food and grocery stores. Haven’t stayed on west side Sedona but it was very nice and traffic not bad like east side.

The breakfast both days was outstanding, the hosts were all very nice and helpful, and our room was very cozy and comfortable for the two of us. We'd definitely stay there again on another trip to Sedona!

Room & property are super clean! The inn manager was welcoming and always available. The highlight had to be the breakfast service, which is indeed gourmet! Chef takes great care to provide both taste & style. Breakfast serving times are flexible. Having a private entrance to our room was nice, too; it’s very quiet. The location of the property was convenient for the hikes we wanted to do and close to restaurants.

We had a lovely experience at The Inn at Thunder mountain. Although it would be nice to have the option to cover the window in the shower of the Sacred Feather room as it was bright in the mornings in the room and had workers working on houses behind the property that could see right into the window so couldn’t shower at that time.

Room was spacious, clean. Ceiling lighting for the bedroom was oddly placed (most of the light was on one side) and bathroom lighting was inadequate. A/c heating was sufficient but vent placement (directly over one side of the king bed) seemed odd. Breakfast each morning was nice.

The good parts: fireplace next to the jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed, bread baking in the room when I arrived, a lovely breakfast each morning. The not-so-good parts: there was poop in the toilet when I arrived, there was a styrofoam take out container and coffee mug on the front porch when I arrived, the outdoor couch and awning on the way to my room were in disarray when I arrived (later they fixed it), and the lock for my room was a single deadbolt. I think it could be made to be more secure. Also, regarding the bathroom - the toilet and shower are separated from the rest of the room by only a curtain. I was staying by myself so this was not a problem for me, but if I were there with someone, I might not have liked that at all. Zero bathroom privacy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Ghost Rider suite! Attention to detail and thoughtfulness for our comfort was clear in every aspect of our stay. From freshly baked bread awaiting us to convenient toiletries, snacks, and plentiful robes and towels for the hot tub (immaculately clean), we had a lovely time. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfasts, delivered to our room by the wonderful chef, were truly outstanding and a great way to start the day taking in all of the area's activities. I would highly recommend this secluded, yet conveniently located gem.

We had an unforgettable experience at The Inn at Thunder Mountain! The innkeeper went above and beyond to make our stay special. Despite making a last-minute booking on a Sunday evening, he stayed after hours to personally welcome us after our flight. This was our first visit to Sedona, and he truly set the tone for an incredible trip. Upon arrival, he upgraded our room to a beautiful suite and greeted us with warm, homemade bread and jam—such a thoughtful and personal touch! From beginning to end, our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and rejuvenating. The attention to detail and care made all the difference. Thank you for making our visit to Sedona so memorable! We can’t wait to return!

Comfortable, quiet and lovely room. Has a family atmosphere where the staff is available for your every need. Bread baked in our room made coming in every day a welcoming touch. Gardener on staff has spent decades making the the courtyard, walkways, and walls a joy to behold. Fountains, sculptures, moving water pull us in for a lovely experience everywhere on the property. Mr Lodoe Senge is marvelous as a thoughtful, conversational and professional host. I can not think of a more welcoming and peaceful place my wife, (Susan) and I have ever stayed. Kudos! Thank You!
