Disappointment

Bed mattress was old. Charging for parking was not necessary. Carpet was old and looked dirty. Coffee maker in a wood cabinet? Really!

The location was wonderful, rates reasonable compared to nearby larger hotels.

The location was perfect. Beautiful sunsets, a few restaurants within walking distance, as well as a small grocery store.

The room was very dated. The toilet was made for a kindergarten child. I hurt my knees and lower back every time I had to go to the bathroom. We were on the 3rd floor, there are no elevators.

Great value for the location, hospitality and room.

The view of the ocean from our room was amazing! The room was very spacious and was perfect for my husband, toddler, and I with plenty of room. We were also able to use the clean hot tub to relax after a long day of exploring the town. The front desk manager was also very friendly and provided us with an extensive list of restaurants and shops to visit.

Overall great location and service

The service was good, location is great and a lovely heated pool. Loved the 24hr coffee available in the lobby.

The room is very dark as there are no ceiling lights. The duvet did not have a cover, instead it was folded in sheets, which of course comes away when you're sleeping. This felt really unhygienic as I doubt the duvet is washed after every guest.

Great location right at the Spyglass exit on 101 easy on easy off. You can easily get to Pismo, Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo Morrow Bay. Clean, large rooms. Lobby open 24 hours if you need any service

$10.00 a night parking. I have stayed in the Pismo Beach area many times and this was the first time I have ever been charged for parking. Plus $20.00 a night hold on your card for extra services, if you don't use any extra services, that $20.00 a night fee is refunded, but even with the parking fee it is still priced well.

All pleasant except for the fraud charge

It was all clean and comfortable I would definitely stay again

I’m very dissatisfied with the fact I paid for my room on a different credit card with booking. Com and the check in person tried to charge me again then realized we paid for both rooms. But when returned home there was a charge in my bank for 348.00 and 10.00 I tried calling the desk but could never get through all I got was robots. The charge was reversed finally but not the 10 dollar charge. I have no explanation for that charge and no way of asking that to me is fraud. And very disappointed in that.

There was two off leash dogs roaming the property. They were very huge and growled at my 4 year old. It was a very terrifying event because they kept coming closer and my husband had to chase them away after they kept coming closer. The area should be closed off and locked in my opinion. They also advertise that it’s on the beach, but there’s no actual beach access since you’re on a cliff.

View was incredible!! Loved having a separate patio with ocean view from our room. The staff were very friendly and nice!

The bathroom was a bit dated. Shower had good water pressure and shower head. Bathroom fan did not work . . . it was trying but you could tell the fan blade was not spinning and running. Lighting in the Bathroom above the sink was very dim and hard see in that area despite it being open and mirrored closet doors behind it. Would have been nice to have a small microwave in the room.

Good location and garden outlook. Car parking easy outside accommodation. Plenty power points with USB ports available. Pool and jacuzzi.

Upgrade offer for patio was expected to have sea view as per illustration but faced a hedge. Room layout was awkward. Very little drawer space. Bed was very soft and creaked.

When we arrived and went to open our patio door of our partial ocean view room we were greeted by our neighbors who were looking directly into our balcony (they were less than a foot from our space with no divider for privacy). Our partial ocean view was over their heads. Not only that we could not open our drapes or these neighbors would look directly into our room. It was quite disappointing. We had no other windows in our room so it was like sitting in an enclosed box. We asked to cancel our reservation but were denied. There was zero privacy.

We loved how close it was to the beach and how they offered smores to take down to the fire pit.

The patio. It was a little dirty with candy wrappers that were visible. Also we were by a fire ant hill so we couldn't enjoy the patio. Lastly to get a balcony view of the beach, it is a little pricey.
