Nice spot right along the ocean!

Great spot right in the water. Unfortunately it was raining when we were there so we did not get to enjoy the amenities but really beautiful. Staff was nice. We had breakfast at the hotel which was also pretty nice.

Best location for a staycation

We didn’t have breakfast with you. We went to Zorros for breakfast before leaving town. We enjoyed the bar and the hot tub and relaxing in our room watching to ocean while sitting by the fireplace. Loved all the happy employees.

All staff in all departments were super friendly and accommodating

We did have an issue while we were there but to be honest it didn’t bother me too much since they fixed it and gave us two vouchers for breakfast. Very helpful considering we have two little ones under two and it was my birthday. It made the stay very pleasant for us.

Really liked the location and Pismo is a fun little city. We even got to watch a surf contest at the pier.

I loved the partial ocean view room. We could see the pool below and the complete ocean view I also liked that the pool was quiet at around 9 pm. I think it was closed at this time.

The bathroom and the mattresses were old. The rug needed updating. The quartz around the sink was blackened.

Location was good. Hot water pressure in shower was good.

The valet person, one in particular was very rude. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working properly. Shower curtains was a bit of a downer, for a such an expensive hotel, why wasnt there glass in the bath tub? Also, the tub was so small that one could not even fit in properly. Hardly any vegetarian food choices in the hotel

Beautiful setting and very clean hotel. The pool was lovely. The jacuzzi was great. The next-door restaurant was perfect. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The maids were great, and the service of the maids was fantastic.

I liked the property very much. But the bed, although comfortable was like a marshmallow and I found it tough to get a good night sleep.

Worth the stay

The staff was both attentive and kind. They alone made the stay enjoyable. The amenities from the resort was the icing on top.

If I had to say one thing about the stay that was a little weird was no breakfast included with the stay. With this in mind, you could get breakfast at the restaurant next door, but it was not included with your stay.

We had a partial ocean view and were very pleased with it-- the size of the room, the large window, very comfortable bed and pillows, the sofa. Good bedside reading lights.

The window coverings could not be fully opened and that doesn't make sense, when you have a good view. That type of window treatments are trendy, but much better would be something that does not get in the way of the view at all. The other issue was the location of the toilet. Too close to the shower, and you practically had to take a taxi to reach the toilet paper.

Spectacular property with gorgeous views and comfortable accomodations.

Quiet and well-appointed room. Comfortable beds. Loved the view from the lawn, Marisol, the adirrondack chairs, the pool/jacuzzi.

It would be nice to have a fan in the bathroom, but that's all I can say, everything was great!

The whole experience at the Cliffs was excellent! The locale was stunning. The views of the ocean while at the pool area were captivating. The other guests were all pleasant to be around. The cliff walk was beautiful. The valet parking was always very prompt. The restaurant onsite was excellent. The room was very clean. The staff was always very pleasant and helpful. Overall, it was a perfect vacation experience. And one our group will definitely want to repeat again.

I am putting a low mark because the facility says free parking but this is not true. If you want to park there you have to pay the valet, otherwise they send you to a public parking on the other side of the street, uphill.

Was first time to Pismo was a birthday trip my friend found the hotel and it did not disappoint. Definitely on my list to return to. The valet is economical price. Only $25 totally worth it. They even have a porter to take your bags if you wish . Excellent customer service. Try the homemade English muffins if you get breakfast they are delicious and soft.
