Great Value for Money

Staff were friendly and helpful. For a trip on a budget it was great value for money. Room was of a good size and everything worked.

It was a bit dated but again considering the value involved, I'm not complaining. I stayed for 10 nights so not used to having to request my room to be cleaned. The hotel did offer/explain this and said with advanced notice they would send someone but I was on the go so didn't remember. Right next to airport so plane noise took a bit of getting used to and airport parking was next door so lots of reversing beacons going off throughout the night. Frustrating that although parking was free, it was rarely available had to park at neighbouring Bob Evans. Most of the cars didn't move so led me to believe they were long-term residents or some form of airport parking. Not a deal breaker but a little frustrating when it started snowing.

Perfect place for a quick stay to catch an early morning flight

Stayed overnight so I could take an early flight in the morning. It had everything I needed - clean bathroom/shower, clean and comfy bed, free wifi, and good shuttle service close to the airport. The staff was very friendly both when I checked in and checked out. I also felt safe staying there as a solo female traveler. I didn’t try the breakfast or pool so can’t comment on that, but I would absolutely stay there again if I had to catch an early flight in the morning.

The location of the hotel was very close to the highway and to the stadium which made the trip even more better.

Aside the minor challenges, it’s a nice facility and I enjoyed my stay.

The bagels were excellent

The room was broken down The light switch at the entry door did nothing The lamp was literally broken with the bulb and socket hanging down by the wires. The hair dryer was situated so that it's cord hung directly over the light switch It was the night of game 7 of the world series, and they could not get the TV to work well

The man at the front desk was nice & helpful. The microwave wasn't working so they got me a brand new one!

The parking... you have to park at Bob Evans (next door) because people flying can park in their lot! I ended up getting a spot right in front of my door after about 2 hours so it ended up worked out!

Kept my deposit because of dirty towels and sheets

I liked that the beds were a little comfortable

They kept my deposit due to sheets and towels being dirty but I have little children which they knew my 1 year old bottle wasted a little on the sheet and we took baths so of course the towels and was cloths would be dirt. Housekeeping never came and cleaned anything during my stay I had to ask for extra towels and wash clothes.

I didn’t like that I woke up to 2 bedbugs in the bed with me. We I went into the room to look it over I was concerned about the fact of plastic cover over the mattress. Now I know why I was concerned. I have a few red marks on my legs.

Uncomfortable

Close to the airport.

The floors were extremely dirty!! The sheets had little crumbs and specks of dirt and I had to keep sweeping the sheets off with my hands, got different sheets and I gave up, I went and got a blanket out of my car and put it on top of the sheet. There were LOTS of cracks in the headboard, my children didn't want to go near them and neither did I. The shower leaked so bad from the ceiling my hair got wet every time I took a shower, I couldn't get close to the water without getting my hair wet.

airport shuttle was super fast. driver show up after 5 minutes. but he got little upset just because i didn’t have any change for him.

stayed there only 1 night. Dirty room, remote control for the TV was not working. Noisy old A/C... Yes, its cheap but if i didnt pay in advance, i would rather go back back to the airport and stayed there for few more hours for my flight at 6am. Detroit is a big city, one the main hub for international flight and is hard to belived that a decent hotel is more than $ 200/night. For this price I would stay at the airport next time. Couldn’t sleep, bed not comfortable, bathroom smells clorox... if you have a overnight flight in detroit and dont want to spend more than $ 200, stay at the airport. but im not sure if there is any terminal open 24 hours a day.

The bed had a deep grove in the mattress very uncomfortable. The door had been smashed at one time. See pics . I went to close the door and the handle came off in my hand. Very run down needs over haul.

It was just okay

It was very affordable for one night

Never any parking, not that clean, very uncomfortable beds and pillows. Refrigerator didn’t work, door didn’t seem to close and lock right, dirty towels left from the previous visitor.. was offered another room but had already settled in and was leaving by 6am the next morning.
