Good place to have a 24 hour rest point at a junction in long haul travel

Used the hotel shuttle. Excellent. Very helpful staff on reception. Location ideal. Close to airport but not disturbed by planes. Room well provided, fridge, microwave. Though I didn’t use. Coffee machine. Unfortunately no kettle to boil water for tea. Have to start day with breakfast tea! Minor issue. It was available in the breakfast area. My experience was repeated at a subsequent stay at the end of my vacation. As the saying states. “It did what it said on the tin” and a bit more. Would have no hesitation in staying in a future trip.

For a hotel to provide for air travellers and others, it was good. There is nothing negative or areas for improvement that comes to mind other than my personal minor point in a previous comments box.

I did not like that the price to park your vehicle in the parking lot was not included or disclosed as an add on in the price of the room. That was a surprise expense that I was not expecting.

Although a rough week for me, the stay and the staff made it BETTER!

It was an excellent stay for another couple of nights. Breakfast was good, the room was good, and when there was an issue, things were handled quickly. There was no hesitation about switching me to a different room so that the issues in the previous room could be addressed.

There wasn't anything I could say badly. It was truly a great stay; the staff throughout was excellent. You pass any staff member and they'd speak. Again, it was a great staff!

It is close to the airport with a free shuttle. They also helped coordinate reasonable and reliable transportation to the cruise terminal and a shuttle to the airport after the cruise.

At least we got to meet the fireman

Close to airport with a convenient shuttle that even took us and picked us up from dinner. Rooms were good.

My party of 8 adults and 5 kids got stuck on the elevator for 40 minutes. Now I normally wouldn’t give a bad review because this isn’t the hotels fault but at the time there were no signs of capacity for the elevator and when we were finally rescued we were told it was our fault for overloading the elevator. While trapped with no air circulation we read the weight limit in small print at the bottom of the panel and we were way under it- so to be told it was our fault was a little silly. If the elevators can’t handle their posted weight limit then a sign of max occupancy should be listed. Some of our party was very traumatized being trapped and we were offered snacks as compensation- i believe our room being comped should have been the appropriate response. Even the staff at the front desk was very worried about us and apologized profusely but she still said we should only let 5 people on the elevator at a time. It’s not like we were cramped when it broke. We were comfortable- 5 is ridiculously low for an elevator. But again post it if that’s the case.

Terrible, do not recommend

Did not like the breakfast, did not keep it stocked up & area was not clean. Also, not good choices. Location was just okay

We had a terrible time with the shuttle service. First off no one answered the phone when we tried to call several times from the airport. We finally got a hold of them & it was 45 minutes for them to show. I had to chase them down since they were told to pick us up at the wrong area. Then we used the shuttle to go to dinner and were told us to call when we were done. No one answered the phone when we called 5 times. Finally answered the phone & we had to wait 45 minutes for a pick up again. The driver told us he was just sitting at the hotel, didn't know to pick us up. When we first arrived at the hotel the day of arrival we were told we couldn't check in & they had nowhere to store our bags. Made us wait til we got our room 1 1/2 hrs. later. We had wanted to explore the city but, this gave us little time to do so. It was utter chaos when we were waiting for a room. Nowhere to sit & my husband is disabled. This was the absolute worst time we have stayed with Marriott. Staff was not very accomodating.

Great stay!

Stayed 8/20 - 8/21. We stayed a day before our cruise to Alaska. Clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient, good breakfast, safe neighborhood. The shuttle bus took us to the cruise port for $20 per person. I thought it was affordable. Train station nearby if you wanna go downtown.

Shuttle bus...would appreciated being told there is a free phone at the airport collection point to order shuttle from hotel. Breakfast was brilliant...drinks cereal waffle scramble eggs etc toast etc yogurt and fruit...room was good.
