Disappointing

Downtown, walking distance to many attractions

The advertised pool was drained! The room had a very unacceptable pull out sofa not sufficient for two adults to sleep on. No one would help us cancel our second two nights so we could book somewhere else with a working pool and two real beds. Something that looked like decal matter on the picture frame above the toilet

Dated and a little pricey, but proximity to venues is great.

Room was a great size, well appointed and had everything you need in the kitchenette.

There were no USB ports for charging devices, except the one on the TV. The alarm clock was so old you couldn't set the alarm and there was an iPod dock on it. The utensils in the cooking drawer were very dusty, luckily we didn't need them. I also was not aware we would have to pay an extra $27 per night to park on site.

Overall, it was a really good stay nice and comfortable cable tv comfortably bed, all the amenities we needed.

It was close to the stadium and all the restaurants and stores. I liked the room it was very clean with all the things I like to have in my room. Fully furnished with everything fridge, stove microwave etc. We even had breakfast in the morning.

I didn’t like we had to pay for parking. And o didn’t like that I believe someone try to come in my room bedroom it was time to check out before 11am.

Gross towels in bathroom

It was a convenient walk close to where we needed to be

The hotel hand towels that were rolled up in "cubbies" in bathroom, had dark strands of knotted hairs rolled into the towels...Gross!! Have pictures...rug very outdated. Had DUCT TAPE IN shape of a square in front of couch. Seat cushions on couch had a small hole..I have pictures

We didn’t have hot water during our stay. we were unaware of it until we contacted maintenance which they then told us that the front desk should’ve told us when we checked it. i was extremely disappointed about the situation because everything else was good in the hotel. Wish we would’ve known or been placed in a different room that had hot water to be able to shower in.

Great stay

I loved the location of the Hotel and the facilities was clean I didn’t care for the breakfast it was cold and undercooked but it’s just my preference. The mattress was clean and the bathroom was clean

I was upset with the small things that are broken in room like the bedside lamp had electrical tape and a broken shade trying to fix it half way but I was just disappointed because just fix it .. the lamp shades need to be replaced desperately. And the couch was dirty I asked for extra sheets to put over them

Not the best experience.

The location was good and the room size was good.

The front desk staff that I encountered was not friendly especially during checkout. The women at the desk couldn’t even take the time to look up from the computer to great us. With eyes glued to the computer she goes checking out? No how was your stay? No eye contact was made at all. This made me feel like my business didn’t matter I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere. Room very outdated and not cleaned well. There were crumbs on the floor shower dirty and shower was hard to turn on.

We enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn and we'll be back for future visits to Pittsburgh.

I really liked the room; but the bathtub stopper was broken and the commode bowl had a stain. I liked the full size refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. The room was a great value; and I would definitely consider Residence Inn in th future.

I was pleasantly surprised. After reading some poor reviews, this exceeded my expectations.

We came to Pittsburgh to see a baseball game so this location was perfect. It is directly across the street from PNC Park and from our top floor room, we had a great view of the ballpark and surrounding area. Our room had been recently renovated so everything was very fresh and clean. The mattress brand new and exceptionally comfortable.

The breakfast buffet is just OK.

It’s great that it is right next to PNC Park but understand it is a 3 star hotel for a reason.

The breakfast was good. However, it would be nice to have plain bagels with cream cheese.

When I checked into my room, there was no remote for the tv and it didn’t work so I had to call maintenance and there was no mattress in the sofa bed so I had to also call for that.

Great location for a Pirates game.

1 night stay with PNC Park across the street from front entrance.Room was clean. Asked for early check in and room was ready when we arrived. Front desk was efficient and pleasant.Many restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Breakfast was a standard type with folded over eggs and no bacon or hash browns. Area was clean. Parking is $27 a night.

Poor quality for a Marriott!

The location.

The room was awful. I don’t believe this hotel has ever been updated since opening, and it is sadly in need of one. The bed was horrible very worn out, and the one in the living room you could feel the springs when you laid on it. I also heard other people complaining about their room being a disaster! Do not stay here!

super fun stay at a hotel with everything we needed and more EXTRA close to the baseball stadium!!

so close to PNC park!

the blankets they provided for the sofa sleeper were so thin and felt like an ace bandage. we requested another thinking the one in the closet was an anomaly and the second one they brought up was exactly the same. i had a sleeping bag in my car so it was fine but, i think they need new blankets.

Not what we expected; not what we paid for.

We checked out and cancelled. Maintenance staff could not repair air conditioning and it was 97 degrees outside. Couldn’t sleep in room, due to stale warm air. Staff could not offer us another room with working air conditioner - just a box fan…for a family of four. Also due to a baseball game, we got the last parking space ( that we paid for) and we’re not guaranteed there would be a space left, when we went out for dinner.

Convenient but in disrepair

The hotel is next door to PNC Park making it incredibly easy to go to the ball.game. The room had a great view and was large in size. The staff was kind and helpful. The parking lot was convenient.

The property is run down and needs a remodel and deep cleaning. Cabinets were missing varnish, appeared damaged and dirty. There was a missing kick plate under the kitchen cabinet and you could see under with a layer of dust. The carpet was ripped and frayed. The room was in desperate need of a deep clean, evidenced by odd stains on the wall, furniture, and deep, set in stains on the sheets. The floor was also clearly dirty. The plumbing in the bathroom clearly had been an on going problem as the stopper was pulled from the shower drain and sitting on the shelf in the bath tub. The tub drained incredibly slowly. The bathroom sink stopper was missing its top and also struggled to drain.

The staff were not friendly A brand new toy was missing from my room and they claimed that it might went in to the garbage. I only got cleaning service once and all what the cleaning lady did was picking up the garbage from the bathroom.

The location was key. Check in was simple and the front desk staff was very helpful.

We go to games at PNC Park and Residence Inn is right across the street from the stadium.

Well everything was perfect the staff goes out of their way to help. In fact we usually finish our trip going to a day game and they usually let me leave my car there so I don’t have to look for parking. BUT this year the PGA tour was going on and they were not going to have parking spots available. So I had to move my vehicle before going to the game. But kudos to them for always trying.

Location

I left my work device on accident. Although it was pinged at the hotel the staff kept saying it wasn’t there and wouldn’t even put me through to a manger! Needless to say a police report was filed. I will never stay here again!
