I’ve been coming to this Embassy Suited location since I was 13 years old, I’m now 32. This was supposed to be a get away with my family. The pool wasn’t accessible, made to order breakfast wasn’t available, heat in the room didn’t work, both tvs were unable to connect to Netflix, and the fridge/freezer didn’t work. The fridge had a smell to it so I wiped it down and put some items in there. Woke up in the middle of the night nothing was cold, and some of my items went to waste. These was a dog on the floor the barked throughout the nite.

The room was nice
The pool was down in which when you call it was false advertisement and the place was under reconstruction on the inside in which they had workers working and I couldn't sleep too much noise

Didn’t have my reservation and they were under construction! Disaster
Staff was less than friendly and refused to look for my Booking.com reservation.

The location
When I got there, I did not realize the place was under construction. It was not fit to have guests in. I am shocked that the embassy would even book stays in this environment. Dusty, debris unimaginable. I could not get my money back because I did a 3rd party book. Also, I opened my room to another couple already in the room? How do you make that mistake? Unreal finish to 2025, New Years Eve.

Location. Newly refurbished room was nice.
Under renovation. Noisy and dusty during the day, with industrial smells from the work. Housekeeping staff not careful—room not vacuumed, coffee cups/glasses not replaced. Bathroom sink cracked.

I don’t have anything to say positive. I had no idea when I booked this hotel on Booking.com that it was under construction. My daughter slept on the sofa sleeper and it was barely a mattress. She was literally sleeping on the springs. The lighting in our suite was absolutely horrible. I could barely see to get ready in the morning. I was expecting a beautiful hotel from the pictures, but had nothing but mess to look at. I was absolutely disappointed and feel like it was a complete waste of money! The gentleman at front counter did a good job. That’s the only positive.

I didn’t like anything about the property
They are still doing construction and I had to pack me and my kids up to go to the pool across the street. The lady at the desk said it says that the pool is closed on the website but I didn’t book through their website. Overall I will be back next year for my daughter birthday hopefully the rent ovations will be over.

Rooms was nice had to bring in a microwave phone didn’t work. So had to keep going down stairs for service. But the breakfast was awesome.
Didn’t know the hotel was being renovated so kids wasn’t able to swim reason why I stay there in the first place was the pool. Construction all over the place wasn’t a good look. The lamp in the rooms everyone kept hitting there head on it. Dont know why it would be there so low like that

It was very roomy and the Chef was great. The Chef talked to us and made us feel welcome.
They were remodeling so the property was a little cluttered and the elevator was slow.

One working elevator, dark bathroom due to bulb outage, broken shower/tub lever (both running at same time), and noisy banging 8am in the morning. Too much…

The bathroom was falling apart, the stairs looked awful. They need a lot of maintenance work done it otherwise it’ll look worse. It has a lot of potential

Needs renevations, everything was torn and well used in lobby.
Couch looked old. A fountain that hadn’t been used in years Empty flower pots everywhere in June. Dirty pool.

There was no bathroom door - there was a shower curtain in lieu of a door.
There was mold up and down the wall next to my bed. Room 515. I have pictures.
Told the front desk and the gentleman barely looked at me, I held up the picture to show him and he said ok I’ll tell facilities. He didn’t seem to want to be bothered. That’s disgusting and not safe to breathe and should not be a room being rented out!!!

The kids in our group of eight loved hanging out in the pool. The large sofa bed/chaise combo was roomy enough for the kiddos to all camp out together, which they also loved. Rooms were fairly quiet. Beds were comfy. It was conveniently located to everything (grocery, restaurants, pharmacy, shopping, King's Island, highway). Cocktails at the Manager's Reception were good. Breakfast was OK. Most of the staff were nice and helpful, especially James, the maintenance tech and Matt, the overnight desk attendant.
All of our sinks were backed up/drained very slowly. The hotel wasn't the most clean and definitely needs to be updated. There were mold spots in the tubs/showers, significant cracks in the ceilings and the lots of peeling paint on the ceilings and walls, especially around the windows. There were no meat options at breakfast for those who do not eat pork. Please add turkey sausage/turkey bacon. Snacks at the Manager's Reception were lacking (chips and pretzels, basically). Some staff were rude and unpleasant. Check-in guy couldn't be bothered.
We were MOST UPSET though, by my daughter being bitten FIVE TIMES by a spider on our first night at the hotel. She woke me up at 4 AM to let me know that she had been bitten and we went to the front desk IMMEDIATELY to get new rooms. The night staff (Matt) was very accommodating and apologetic and told us that we would need to change to the new rooms after other guests had checked out, sometime early the next afternoon. I moved my daughter into me and my son's room as soon as we went back upstairs.
I returned to the front desk around 11 AM to make sure we were good to go with the room changes and the AM staff (Lakes) acted as if I was inconveniencing her and said repeatedly that they didn't have insect issues, and even questioned whether my daughter had actually been bitten in her room. I had to show her the photos of the bites for her to be convinced. My daughter's left arm looked HORRIBLE. All five bites were VERY swollen and red.
My daughter was having such pain, itching and discomfort from the spider bites that I went back and forth to the nearest pharmacy THREE TIMES to get her medications and topical ointments, sprays and creams, just anything to give her some relief.

Comfortable bed, a clean room that was a nice size
Bathroom in the room had paint peeling on the ceiling and a light fixture that was broken. Other parts of the room seemed to be in functional but substandard condition as well.

Great location and room set up. The lobby and eating spots were good too. Front desk Staff was personable.
Many issues with maintenance in our room. Broken shower rod, hard to operate shower faucet, inoperable coffee machine, deep hole in one of the double mattresses, no top sheet for the sofa bed, liquid hand soap in the shower instead of shower gel or other shower soap, leather chair torn up on the arm.

Breakfast was the only good thing
The room was dirty! There was no conditioner in the shower and there was a cigarette butt under the sink and a long black hair in the tub on the body wash. I’m a blonde. There was drips of something on the floor. The pool was empty so we couldn’t use it. And had to travel to the second floor for ice.
