Review for Sonesta Suites Cincinnati⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I recently stayed at the Sonesta Suites in Cincinnati for 8 days, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the convenience of having a ground-floor room made it super easy to unload our luggage from the car. The parking was also very accessible, which was a huge plus. The location is fantastic, close to everything we needed. Our room was clean and always had a pleasant scent when we walked in. It was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home. The bed was large and comfortable, though the mattress was a bit softer than I prefer. However, it wasn’t a major issue at all. The room was equipped with everything we needed, giving it a cozy, home-like feel. The bathroom was spotless and enjoyable to use. We did notice that there was no handheld showerhead, just an overhead one, but we managed just fine. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cincinnati!

Suggestions for Improvement: Mattress Comfort: A firmer mattress option would be a great improvement for guests who prefer more support. Handheld Showerhead: Adding a handheld showerhead in the bathroom would enhance the shower experience.

The area was nice the landscape was decent & easy to get to your destination, the rooms were fair and does come with necessary kitchen items for long stays giving an apartment feel to it. Stay was nice and welcoming and breakfast was good

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were so nice. I liked the feel of like an apartment. Very spacious and homey.

it was a good location to meet my son halfway between his home and mine 9-10 hour drive for both

the breakfast way okay, could be better. I liked the two bedroom suite with central living room and kitchen. I had to meet my Airman son halfway between his home in Virginia and my home in Iowa to return his Golden Doodle I had for 7 months while he was deployed. It was a short overnight visit and it was nice to have a living room to visit.

there was no laundry product vending machine in laundry room, I asked front desk where the laundry room was when checking in because I needed to do laundry. She did not ask if I needed laundry soap and after loading washing machine I had to go back to front desk to purchase a tiny one use box of Tide for $4.50 which I thought was very high priced. I also had to go buy a bottle of pop as there was no vending machines at front desk for $3.50 which was also very high.

Nice stay overall with friendly staff

It is nice to have two bedrooms and a common area with kitchen for longer stays. It allows everyone to have their own space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location was great for us.

House keeping would be nice to have more than once a week at least for trash pick up and maybe fresh towels. They do have dumpsters you can take trash to and they will bring towels sooner if needed. It would just be nice to have it maybe every 4-5 days instead of once a week. Also the people above us were running around and banging around until at least midnight each night. Luckily we weren't going to bed earlier or it would have kept us up but when we went to bed they were also settling down. It went on every night and sounded like they were stomping and running all over constantly. So, it may be better to have an upstairs unit if you want it to be quieter. But there is no elevator so you'd have to carry everything up the stairs.

The young lady at the front desk was awesome. Our King bed was the best sleep either of us has ever gotten. The pillows on the bed were awesome. We are now looking for a mattress and pillows for our bed at home.

Staff is amazing, clean, affordable, door to outside, not inside hallway, without a motel feel

There's nothing I don't like about this hotel. We discovered it last KI season. I won't stay anywhere but here now. This was our 3rd stay here and we're here again now for our 4th. I'm currently looking to book next season's trips here. 15 minutes to kings island. Don't get confused with sonesta east or west, they are NOT the same. We love that all doors open to the room from outside, like a motel. It's nice to get back from the park and not have to walk inside, down the hall, in the elevator, down the hall to your room. Here you pull up to your building, walk in your room. Pool is super warm and clean. There's breakfast, but we've never gone so can't speak on that. The staff is fantastic. 5 stars

Peaceful for the Fourth of July weekend!

I like the fact that I had my own kitchen and was able to cook dinner for the night for me and my husband.

There was a lady at the desk that I feel was a little rushy not really taking time during my check in process just seemed very rushed. but otherwise my day was OK. Only thing I didn’t like is our carpet hadn’t been vacuumed and there were a few different dead bugs in the room but stay was OK.

Lacked Cleanliness and non-working components

I liked the apartment-like feel. Having a kitchenette area was VERY NICE!

1.) I was totally surprises by the $100 deposit. I was NOT expecting that. I booked this stay through booking.com, so I didn't realize there was an additional fee associated. 2.) The HVAC system in the room was very LOUD and the noise continued to run all night long even after I turned the unit off 3.) I had multiple hairs in the bath tub. Which made me wonder if the bathroom had even been cleaned at all. Thankfully I pack my own cleaning and disinfectant cleaners/wipes/sprays so I cleaned it myself. 4.) Did not get a paper receipt from the property and I was told it was because I had booked the stay through booking.com 5.) The bed was extremely too soft and the pillows were top soft. I could tell they had been worn down significantly. 6.) The charging port on the side of the bed I slept on did not work. I woke up and my phone was still on the same charge percentage as it was when I went to sleep. I switched it to another charger port in the morning and it charged completely.

I really enjoyed the pleasantness of Roxie the hotel agent. She was very nice and deserves a raise! The property itself is very clean and quiet and some of the rooms come with a full kitchen. Breakfast is okay, depending on what you like. There are not any non-pork options as far as meat, but they have juices, coffee, tea, and even ready to make pancakes. We will definitely come to stay again.

If I ever returned I would stay at the same hotel/resort.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was located within walking distance of restaurants and some of the attractions. The suite had all of the amenities that I would expect, including kitchen untensils.

What I didn't like was the lack of parking spaces in the garage. The spaces that are there were small and parking was very tight. I also didn't like that the desk clerk had to buzz you in and out of the garage. If the clerk stepped away for some reason, then you had to wait for their return.
