Clean, Comfortable Stay, But Slightly Overrated

I stayed at Cadillac Motel recently and overall had a decent experience, though I feel the online rating of around 8.4 is slightly inflated. I’d personally rate it closer to 7.8–7.9, which is still solid for a short stay. Positives: The room was very clean, with fresh air and no dust. It’s clear the property has been recently renovated—the textures, finishes, gates, elevator, and entrance all feel new and well maintained. The washroom was spotless, though on the smaller side. Free parking is a big plus, and having a microwave in the room is convenient and not always standard at motels. Curtains were clean, beds were comfortable, and overall sleeping quality was good—I slept very well. Bedding felt almost new (9/10), and while the pillows were clean, they showed some use (around 7/10). The outside view can be quite nice, especially if it’s quiet, with views of trees or falling snow.

Negatives: The room size is average, not small, but not spacious either. The sink is quite small, which feels a bit inconvenient. The heater doesn’t get very warm and seems to cap at a medium temperature no matter how high it’s set. Lighting is also fairly standard and not very bright, which is common in many hotels. There’s no restaurant on-site, and being a single-story motel, there aren’t any additional amenities or activities. Overall: Cadillac Motel is a good option for a one- or two-night stay, especially if you’re mainly looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep. It’s comfortable, functional, and well-kept, just not quite at the 8.4 level in my opinion.

Location of motel was good. Room size was just right. The lighting was a little on the dark side. Staff very friendly and helpful regarding restaurant for dinner. I would stay here another time when visiting Niagara Falls.

Great location, very clean, bed was so comfortable and it was quite quiet inside my room considering the club was loud outside across the street. I was in the back corner of the motel so it was very private too. They gave ample towels too!

It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. Luckily it was a single night stay.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I was checked in to my room in about 5 minutes. They allowed me to check out at 11:30am instead of 11:00 am, which made a difference when I was walking back from Niagara Falls. Also the free parking is a HUGE cost savings. Definitely a major reason for choosing this place.

I feel like the room in itself wasn’t terrible. But it felt like someone quickly walked through, changed the sheets, and left. The corners of the room were dirty, with old lawn chairs stacked in the corner behind the door. The light fixtures and inside the shades were very dusty, which aligns to how it felt like the room was very quickly cleaned and other parts were skipped over. The TV remote didn’t turn the TV on, but it did change the channel, which was ok. The selection is very basic (No major channels like ABC or ESPN). The bathroom had a small window that could be looked into, with no drape or covering. It just felt weird trying to shower or use the restroom. The main door had a significant gap between the floor and door, which let in a lot of cold air (screenshot attached).

The only thing down about this motel room, was the paint peeling in the bathroom. There is no fan, so moisture would of course build up.

Cool updated throwback motel, everything was really top notch and afforable, the staff was great, the bed was super comfy, i want to know where those pillows came from. The location is really perfect, top of the hill, amid tons of dining options, the midway at Clifton and walking to the Falls. AND free parking! What a great find!

Honestly not a thing- good job Cadillac Motel! I am being prompted to write two or three sentences here and honestly nothing to complain about at all. I'd stay here over and over again. Great stay all around.

Retro stay was gret

Hotel was nice good location, walking distance to restaurants and Niagara Falls with no problem Parking was a little tight but seen there was a spot for every room. Noise level was OK heard traffic up to about midnight or so. No breakfast little disappointment as many have something even if they had granola bars and some muffins in the lobby room to go would’ve been nice

Room was ok. Big enough, comfortable beds. Clean. Location is good. It could be a little noisy from the street traffic and club across the street, but it did not bother us. Great place for dinner right across the street.

Great hotel near everything

The manager was friendly and accommodating. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The camp chairs for sitting outside were a nice amenity. We felt like we were in a safe area. We also appreciated the free parking.

Wonderful place, less than 10min away walking to clifton walk. It looks a bit sketchy from the outside but the inside is great. Everything you need and free parking
