Size of the room was fantastic.

Not being aware of the massive construction project going on. Paying extra for a large room with a balcony that we could not use or enjoy.

There are building works going on so there was so access restrictions and a temporary reception area. We were not affected but there is potential for slight disruption.

Beautiful location in a more and more decadent city

Location is wonderful. However undergoing renovation makes everything more complicated, from check in to food. Pool always nice and functional. Renovated rooms are more elegant, even if colors of the entrance do not match at all those of the bedroom. What is really missing is the availability of a coffee machine. Considering the level and cost of the hotel, and considering thd location not close to any good level breakfast facility, this should be a must.

My room was in the rear part of the hotel, with views of a wall and very little sea. This should be mentioned at the time of reservation. Unacceptable the lack of a coffee machine in the room. The cost of renovation could have included the 50 USD of an expresso machine

We were unaware of the renovations combined with the flooding it was difficult to maneuver causing us to have to use the back entrance to cross the street.

We had to walk through a parking garage to get to an elevator to get to our room; we had no maid service the last two days we were there. Maid showed up at 9am while we were getting g dressed, even though I requested noon -2:30, and never came back. Hotel was very expensive for what they offered.

Room great, staff welcoming, downstairs entrance needs a face lift

Great location. Our suite was very well maintained and seemed to have be freshly painted, great views from our room across the sea, for a partial view very good, the air con loud, ear plugs a must. the hot Tin restaurant was good food. The welcome drink was small, and served at the weird bar in the corner rather strange, the staff very welcoming. The whole entrance lobby and area on the ground is underwhelming and basic and the bar in the corner lacks sophistication. It lets the hotel down and our hearts sank when we arrived. The pool far too small for the hotel the photos make it look much more impressive than it is. Valet parking, no other option, the guy that parked our car had to be pushed to bring our car to the front when we were leaving. Live music at the bar on the deck outside, when it got going after millions of sound checks was good and the place packed which made for a nice atmosphere. The staff gave us a late check out when asked twice which we appreciated.

Loved the resort! Stepped out of the resort right onto Duval street. Everything is within walking distance. Very clean, amazing views, wonderful food, pool and cocktails were fabulous, service was spot on.
