The Iroquois Times Square, a Small Luxury Hotel

Good location to go to the theater, my main priority. Room was nicely appointed, but small - even the king size. The room was quiet. Breakfast was good, but limited options.

I looked into a lightwell, so not very light, but made for good sleeping.

The property is beautiful and clean and located in a great part of the city!

The location is excellent for visiting and experiencing the city and what it has to offer. Breakfast is offered 07:00 to 11:00. A waitress rebuked me for coming to breakfast at 10:55. Now I paid just short of $5000.00 for the experience and I came down to breakfast before it was listed over. All-be-it shortly before. She should not have said what she said.

Breakfast is on 07:00-11:00. One day I came down for breakfast at 10:55 and I was rebuked by a waitress who was disgruntled. Now I had paid just short of $5000.00 to for the experience of staying at that hotel and did not deserve to be spoken to the way she did to me. I came down before the end of time and that's all that should matter. The hotel has a gym and sauna. Which is one of the principle reasons I chose it. I liked to have a work out including cardio and then followed by a sauna. You have to tell them in advanced, to put the sauna on. so that it's ready and hot when you need it. On three occasions I told them ahead of time. Only to discover it had not been turned on. On some individual occasions, I had to tell them multiple times. I's either a cheap trick at trying to save money incompetence. either, way i feel I have paid good money to not experience this kind of treatment. Also the gym is not up to much and I had to report a broken bike. The good thing is that they had it repaired in good time. The rooms are a bit too small for the price price asked but the bed was comfortable.

Some of the staff were very nice, especially the door men who I thought really provided a warm greeting and assisted us when moving rooms. The location can't get much better, it is in the heart of Manhattan near a lot of the tourist attractions and available to transport in every direction.

We were in New York during August, which as hot and humid, so AC was essential. Our room's AC broke while we were out one day and when we came back the room was unbearable. We called for assistance and the first fix attempt was to just reset it by turning it on and off (which I had already done). We were told to wait an hour and see if it was fixed, it did not change temperature at all and was still extremely uncomfortable to try and sleep in. We called again and they sent someone up to change the filter. This was obviously not the issue as the filter had been changed only a few days before according to the date on the filter. We were again told to wait an hour even though this was not going to fix the issue. This did not work, so we were told we had 2 options - move to a room with 2 beds but smaller beds or get a portable AC. As we had a queen for myself and my partner, we wanted to keep this room and get the portable AC instead of 2 double beds as it was less convenient and comfortable for us. Shortly after I told them I wanted this option I had one of the receptionists come up with the engineer and he was asking me why I rejected his advice to change rooms. I told him I thought we were given a portable AC option and they then said there was no portable AC option even though they had given me this as an option. I was already annoyed that they seemed to lie to me about an option and act like I made it up, so then they told me we'd have to change rooms, as it was unbearably warm in our room. I went down to the desk and expressed my annoyance with the situation, and the other desk receptionist had the audacity to tell me this was more like a room upgrade because it had 2 beds even though it was 2 smaller beds than the 1 bed we had (did not want to sleep in separate beds). I would also like to note this was 11 pm, we had already been out from early in the morning, and just wanted to sleep.
