    I spent one night in the Grayson in a double room with my son. The check in space is small and chaotic. There are only two working elevators and we waited anywhere from 5-20 minutes to get a car that had enough space. The room itself was small and dark, and was missing basic features like a table or desk or literally anywhere to put things down. The bathroom had little shelf space and one towel hook. There was no counter top or other storage. The room itself was quite unclean. There was hair in the shower, on the bathroom floor and on the duvet & linens. The bathroom was not clean and there was visible signs of dirt, wear & tear. The reviews made this property seem high end, if not near luxurious, and it is decidedly not either of those. I was super disappointed in the reality of the space. It’s a perfectly average midtown hotel - that’s it. You can stay in similar properties for far less.
