Love the charm of this property. The grounds are beautiful and very tranquil. The fact that it’s adults only makes it the perfect couples getaway.
The food and beverage prices were higher than expected. The digital menu had cheaper pricing than the physical menu so it was easy to tell where they increased. I would consider other properties based on this factor. $39 for a poolside burger is a bit bananas.

I came here for my “girls gone mild” bachelorette party and it exceeded my expectations. Marty at the front desk went above and beyond for me and my group. He was the absolute best. I also loved the yoga instructor, she was calming and her energy and flow was exactly what I needed. OThe property is beautiful and the environment is unmatched. It was the perfect weekend.
I loved everything.

Love the setting - it’s truly beautiful. The rooms are lovely and they are immaculate.
Pool service is non existent. The majority of staff are rude and dismissive except for two female members who we unfortunately did not get the names of. Guests next to us on two occasions ordered food and multiple hours later their empty plates and left overs were sat next to us on the loungers attracting flies. Disappointing as this poor service wasn’t a thing during our previous visit. Considering the price you pay you can get much better in PSP for a lot less money. The hotel is trying hard to be something that it certainly is not. Having stayed in boutique hotels all over the world the service leaves a lot to be desired.
Also compared to our previous stay the room was much more run down. Lacking basic amendment as well as an array of issues including a broken sink and window.
Special shout out to the front desk staff and house keeping who genuinely go above and beyond to help.

Great restaurant, beautiful Hotel ! Outstanding staff always willing to assist. Bikes on site to get to town. Super close to town and shops walking distance. Room was beautiful and clean .
I think for the price the hotel should have more amenities for guests, the extra fees add a lot. Be aware of the 35 parking fee per day.

Everything! It's a beautiful hotel with great staff. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is very service oriented. They do everything to make the guest happy, many other hotels can learn from that! Loraine from the restaurant really makes you feel at home and makes sure you have an amazing evening.
When we booked it says that it includes taxes and surcharges, but we still had to pay € 45 per night for resort fee at check out. That was the only thing that was disappointing.

The staff was nice & attentive since we arrived. On our first day we hung out by the pool area and it was exceptional. My fiance & I relaxed, had drinks & ate a few appetizers. The room was beautiful. Very comfortable bed, pillows & sheets. We will come back!
The lighting in the restroom could be more vibrant.

The room was cute - loved the decor but it was really dark. Bathroom was really big and water pressure was great! Bathroom was really nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable.
The room was too dark - would have loved more natural light.
Service at the pool was practically non existent. No one came up to offer me a beverage, when I went and ordered from the bar they were very nice and they brought it out to me but then never checked in on me to see if I wanted anything else and didn't take away the dishes when I was finished. There were only 5 other people at the pool so its not like they were super busy. Pool is also 4ft deep - which is a little shallow for an adult pool.

Classic Palm Springs.

Rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious, the front desk staff and valet staff are wonderful, and the spa treatments and service are fantastic
The bartenders are rude, take a very long time to make simple drinks, and get overwhelmed easily which slows the entire poolside staff down and people wait for drinks for an hour, or never receive the drinks at all. The pool doesn't get cleaned daily, which it should, and so it gets filthy with hair, sunscreen, debris and dead bugs. There aren't enough pool chairs for the capacity of guests which causes guests to bicker.

Staff were amazing - they went above and beyond. The hotel did charge extra $35 for valet and self-parking on site, which isn't a huge amount. The rooms are extremely small and not as nicely equipped as we would expect for the price we paid per night (e.g. no suitcase stand, no full size mirror, no attached vanity mirror in the bathroom, no tub, no separate toilet space, bare bones room, bedroom located directly in front of the main room entrance so no privacy from staff or people walking outside). The room was also directly in front of the pool, but with some privacy. Not a ton of noise.
Rooms felt very much like a motel room with only slightly nicer furnishings. Didn't feel very luxury or spacious.

beautiful property - all elements of design and details very stylish and felt very special
pool was very cold, was very very busy at the pool - some time waiting for a lounger to be available so doesn’t appear to be enough space to accommodate all hotel guests.

It was pleasant sitting by pool. Location fair.
Room so dark I couldn't read. Lighting extremely poor. Room appeared dingy--not what I expect for $500/night. Bathroom large but only 1 sink. No alternative to overhead shower. $45/night "resort fee" for an ordinary swimming pool.
Price far exceeds fair value. It's a "gyp joint". Shoddy, dank motel for exorbitant price.

The remodel was a huge shift from what we loved about the original Colony Palms (somebody really really likes lattice) - but the poolside charm and general calm quietness of the space is still there. Service staff are top notch and the now working fountains and newly installed fire pit are an excellent evening feature. The new mattresses and duvet / sheet options were absolutely fantastic.
If you're a woman, the lighting is fairly dim inside the rooms (we assume to keep the spaces dialed down) which can be a makeup challenge. There is no full-body mirror option, just the bathroom sink area. There's aren't that many electrical outlets but there is a proper iron (but no foldable table, so we used the bed edge).

old school Palm Springs.

The room was attractive and comfortable. It was walking distance to the Main Street and restaurants
Parking was limited and valet parking was expensive. Our car was covered with the debris and and when they gave it back to us, they didn’t even wipe off the front window so we could drive away. I thought that was tacky. Valet parked it under a tree that just covered our car and leaves and they left it like that I found the front desk representative, with in personal robotic and dismissive of the clientele as though she was doing us a favor at our expense. I found her rude and disrespectful.

decor was excellent; facilities were great; staff were very helpful.
would have been good to make clear upfront that valet or self park was a significant additional cost per night.

Our stay at Colony Palms was amazing! I loved the vibe and atmosphere of the hotel. It felt peaceful and the perfect getaway for the weekend. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and kind, showed us to the room and made us feel at home immediately. We hit the pool straight away and spent time relaxing. The pool area, drinks and food were all great. Our room was very large, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom featured Le Labo products. I would reall recommend this hotel for couples and friends looking for a quiet spot in Palm Springs. I can't wait to come back.
Wish we had stayed longer!

the staff is great and very welcoming. the hotel as well is great in terms of design and vibe.
the pool needs some cleaning, and I felt some of the rooms had a very small windows that didn’t allow natural light. the location is good, not great
