We loved it and will be booking again

The location was stunning if you like peace and quiet and being surrounded by beautiful scenery, the breakfast was nice, we had our own patio and garden and four poster bed, we spent time playing football with the resident dog

It’s at the end of a narrow lane but lots of properties are like that in Devon - you need to be a confident driver if you aren’t used to the roads.

One night stay on way to Cornwall.

Quiet location. Breakfast included. Fortunately there was a room available with patio door and outside table and chairs which we were unaware of when booking so made the stay much nicer. Handy for Dawlish and Exeter.

Great location, facilities, food and attention. A superb and much-needed short break for us both.

Breakfast was lovely, cooked to perfection and Alison was such a friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble and she was a mine of information on the locality.

Access roads are very poor. Bathroom in need of a makeover - shower especially as pressure awful. Lots of cobwebs on the ceiling in main room - especially above the bed. Pillows on bed need replacing. Wifi didn't work.

First class break

The host Alison is excellent, very welcoming and hospitable. The accomodation (Room 2) was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. For a quiet break in the countryside, not too far from a number of attractions, cannot recommend highly enough. Ask Alison beforehand for specific directions, as access is down a country lane, and she can give you another postcode to aim for.

Peaceful and relaxing

Great welcome ,shown to a beautiful room that over looked fields ,the only sound you could hear was the wind in the trees and the birds singing. Very clean ,bed comfortable, stunning views. Breakfast was cereals, fruit,full english, juices ,yoghurts, all the usual.

There was nothing we didn't like ,pub was a nice leisurely walk,there was no noise ,peaceful and relaxing

Full tasty breakfast. Beautiful location. Very friendly host with cute dogs. Be prepared to drive up a narrow lane - but it is Devon so as you would expect. Lovely spacious ensuite room with private terrace.

Perfect place for a tranquil break away from the city buzz. Flex(?) the border collie is the farm's chief entertaining officer and has done an excellent job in keeping us entertained during our stay.

The road to the farm could be a bit daunting at night/poor weather but we arrived during day light and were fine.

Had an exceptional stay, the room was clean and warm and welcoming, and we were upgraded to the bigger room which was a nice treat. The bed was comfortable had a really good nights sleep! Would highly recommend! Hospitality was 5 stars!

A lovely farm acoomodation with sweet staff

The staff was very nice and proactive - we stayed in the UK during the Queens funeral and they suggested us to buy some food in advance so we wouldn'tbe stuck without food during the bank holiday. The breakfast room has a very lovely view - we could see deer on the field one morning! There was a hot air blower in the bathroom. The dogs very friendly and playful.

The window of our room was a bit misaligned and did not close all the way correcly and thus the room was a bit cold.

A friendly, warm welcome and a willingness to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The breakfast was excellent, especially the local sausages and bacon also plenty of choice with fruits and cereal. We were asked to choose at what time we would like breakfast. The room was comfortable and warm although we had been told it was on the small side, but we were invited to sit in the lounge for reading/relaxation. The view of the countryside from our bedroom window was lovely.We received a friendly welcome and the owner was happy to answer questions and give information about local places.
