We had an excellent stay overall and really enjoyed our time here. The property was lovely, comfortable and well presented, and it made a great base for our stay in Dawlish. Everything was clean, and the accommodation had a welcoming feel. We were very happy with the stay overall and would recommend it to others.
The only issues were quite minor. The curtains were very thin and let in a lot of light, which made the room brighter than we would have liked early in the morning and affected our privacy as we were wary that houses overlooking the property could see in. Also, the instructions said that turning the hot water on for 10 minutes should provide enough hot water for a 10-minute shower, but in our experience this was not the case. We turned the hot water on for 20 minutes, and the water only stayed hot for a few minutes.

There was everything we needed for a short stay self catering. It was well equiped and the instructions were thorough and detailed. It was a bit of a walk to the town but we were forewarned so it wasnt a problem.
As it was only single glazed windows there was a lot of moisture on the windows in the morning . But that wasnt helped by the fact that the weather wasnt great - it was cold and wet outside.

Quirky little place and great for work concentration! With no distractions, o felt like I was in a period drama having a coffee next to the fountain in the morning 🥰 the owners are lovely and really accommodating 🙌🏻

It was clean, well equipped kitchen. Very quiet. Lovely walk through the park to town.
The bed settee was uncomfortable, a mattress topper would be good.
We couldn't have one decent shower, even though we put water heater on well in advance, it ran cold after a couple of minutes.
All windows and door didn't shut very well.
No bedside cabinet.
2 fold up chairs were put behind the drop leaf table against the wall. And by the side were 2 big garden chairs. Given how small the place is this it made it very difficult to sit at table. We ended up putting the garden chairs by fridge and pushing the table up against the wall then put one chair by side and other in front.
Think dishwasher and garden chairs are unnecessary.
We did sit outside for half hour, but the garden was a bit scruffy and there was stagnant water in the fountain feature.
This really isn't an apartment, it's very much like a garden sunhouse we used to have. Maybe ideal for a single person, but for a couple it was just too small.
No where to put anything, we didn't bother unpacking our bags.
