There was everything we needed for a short stay self catering. It was well equiped and the instructions were thorough and detailed. It was a bit of a walk to the town but we were forewarned so it wasnt a problem.
As it was only single glazed windows there was a lot of moisture on the windows in the morning . But that wasnt helped by the fact that the weather wasnt great - it was cold and wet outside.

Quirky little place and great for work concentration! With no distractions, o felt like I was in a period drama having a coffee next to the fountain in the morning 🥰 the owners are lovely and really accommodating 🙌🏻

The place being made up and ready when I got there was really helpful, the hosts really went out of their way to make things clear and the arrival email was super great with all the information I needed including a short cut. The kitchen was well set up and I appreciated them leaving some salt and pepper!
It needs better curtains and some information on how to heat the bathroom as it was very chilly in there.

A very nice place, close to the beach. The house is small but has everything you need.
We are quite tall so the bed wasn't for us, but it's not a big problem.

Location was ideal & stay was great
Couch was uncomfortable but still managed to sleep

It was clean, well equipped kitchen. Very quiet. Lovely walk through the park to town.
The bed settee was uncomfortable, a mattress topper would be good.
We couldn't have one decent shower, even though we put water heater on well in advance, it ran cold after a couple of minutes.
All windows and door didn't shut very well.
No bedside cabinet.
2 fold up chairs were put behind the drop leaf table against the wall. And by the side were 2 big garden chairs. Given how small the place is this it made it very difficult to sit at table. We ended up putting the garden chairs by fridge and pushing the table up against the wall then put one chair by side and other in front.
Think dishwasher and garden chairs are unnecessary.
We did sit outside for half hour, but the garden was a bit scruffy and there was stagnant water in the fountain feature.
This really isn't an apartment, it's very much like a garden sunhouse we used to have. Maybe ideal for a single person, but for a couple it was just too small.
No where to put anything, we didn't bother unpacking our bags.

Very cosy & comfortable. Despite the size, the kitchen & bathroom are fine. Wi fi signal excellent. Television has loads of channels including Netflix & Amazon Prime. Plenty of space at the front of the property to park a car.
Roads nearby are quite narrow, but are ok if driven carefully.

I liked the courtyard it was a nice place to sit, especially in the morning at breakfast when the sun was there.
The bed was awful not comfortable at all I was in a dip as it was in two pieces and I was up against a wall, I had bad sleep most nights. The light coming in did not bother me. The shower was unpredictable followed instructions set out in the manual. The cooker did not have an oven and could only use one ring at a time. Rang the owner she sent a friend to help us work it. Lack of storage space felt cramped for two people. A smaller table would have helped provide more space just a small round folded one, there was a large heavy table not needed really. Also coffee machine was nice but not necessary it took worktop space and we never used the dishwasher, again the cupboard could be used for storage. I feel a few tweaks could improve the small area as I would call it a studio rather than an apartment.

Location was very peaceful
This shouldn't be called an apartment as its far from one is more like a glorified garden summer house. No where to store anything. Says it has an oven but doesn't defo not worth the money

Charming property and friendly host. 15 mins to the town along the river. Ideal for walking to Teignmouth and dining at the Jolly Fish Shop. Also for walking the coast to Starcross and the River Exe. The Sticky Rice Thai restaurant in Dawlish is excellent, as are the pasties at 100 year old Gay's Bakery. Will try and visit some of the interesting looking pubs next time!

The bed wasn’t comfortable. It was a sofa bed and had to sleep across twoapart mattresses

Nothing.
Although we expected the property to be small externally, we did not expect the cramped and limited room inside, caused by the number of pieces of furniture and other obstructions within. The room was described as suitable for two persons for a minimum of two nights, yet it was at best suitable for one person for one night with a rucksack. We were unable to unpack our clothes as there was insufficient room to place a suitcase and no luggage space. There were no coat hangers, despite photos on the website showing a small number on the wall. We had to continually move our equipment around the room in order to find space to merely stand. The property was also described as being '10-15 minutes walk' from the centre of Dawlish. We are both used to walking long distances and I walk briskly, but it took at least 25 minutes to walk from the centre of Dawlish. It was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had in a holiday let. We left the premises after only a two day stay, because we could not stand any more.

Quaint and quirky place well made and designed , some very modern touches , your own parking space. Close enough to walk to walk to town and restaurants. There was tea coffee and milk provided which is a lovely touch. The socket outlets with usb outlets.
Not enough space for big persons, I am 6 feet and large framed , we were constantly moving stuff , to be able to either eat or sleep, the dining table is quite heavy and requires putting up and taking down , not suitable for older people , curtains are see through my wife could not sleep fully as there is too much light coming, the hob is lovely but I could only use one ring at a time, water heater takes some getting used to but well explained. The car parking entrance is interesting, as you need to navigate two hills/cambers to get in.
The heating controls are not properly screwed to the wall? And very close to the bathroom light switch , worried it may fall off the wall , there is evidence of tape on the pattress to try and keep it in place, although not high voltage still a worry in the area of the kitchen and moisture.

A small independent garden, quiet, comfortable and excellent value for money. All needs catered for.
Location, would not be suitable for elderly, less mobile clients, but suited our needs.

I expected a very small cottage but it was only a converted garden shed with no wardrobes or shelving for clothes, no food cupboard and quite frankly was only suitable for a single person staying one or two nights, definitely not suitable for a couple looking for a three night stay.

10 minute walk to the beach. Cute little house to stay in with all weathers. The host is friendly and answers everything that you need to know.
The shower goes a little cold sometimes when in it but everything else was perfect.

Comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. Really peaceful location, but with easy access to Dawlish town centre and the train station, which was a 10 minute walk away and brilliant for everything we wanted to do. Accommodation had a reasonable sized double sofa bed that was made up for the stay, a clean well equipped en-suite bathroom and good kitchen facilities, including a fridge, hob and microwave. There was even some tea and milk included for our stay. The patio outside was a sun trap and a lovely spot for breakfast in the morning. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again in future.
Nothing major but the room could do with slightly thicker curtains to block out the sun, which comes full through the windows early in the morning and the shower hot water tank never really gave us more than a few minutes of hot water, so fast showers a must.

Absolutely nothing, it was everything that we had hoped it would be. We were looking for a quiet get away and the cottage didn't disappoint.

They seemed to think of everything you might need - even salt which is usually never provided but really necessary if you are eating in. Also, the lovely fountain, the patio and the views.
