Regent road

Landlord is amazing. He is very nice and cool. Gave me the key and left me to it. Showed me around. The room is okay. Clean sheets and bedding. It is cheap and if your on a budget don't expect 5 star treatment but the room was clean and I was given toilet paper for toilet. I would personally as I've rented a room before invest more into cheap items like something to make it more cosy like air freshner , and few cheap bits.

However I do have criticism but it's so landlord can fix as it is new to booking.com and can see room for improvements. Shower not working at all. It is electric but water doesn't come out at all and handle is leaking. Hopefully this gets fixed as I couldn't shower at all and had to use sink to clean myself. General clean needed too especially if having a booking. I understand other tenants can dirty. But a clean would ne nice before check in. The room is a room in house share and the landlord did give me a heads up about the tenant. I went to get a haircut and came back before going to see family and was greeted by a male who lives there to not close door very loud he can hear bang from his room. I found this very strange because you have to to pull the door make sure its closed and i prefer double check because I don't want my items stolen. This is the main door never mind my room door. Later on when I got back from family event early morning late night..I was approached again while in my room , no noise , no loud music.. by the same person who starting threating to call police because I had a friend over. I told the male to call the landlord I have spoken to him and leave me alone. Told the male you aren't the owner and call the landlord if you have a problem. No police was called in the end. I had to leave the property with my friend to calm myself down and find somewhere else but it being bank holiday, nothing was available. I came back after hour or so no police and the male did not bother me. I hate having to raise this because landlord is sound and he made me aware of this male,but i rather for the next guest also be aware of this tenant who feels so authorized. I had to educate the tenant how booking a place to stay work which i thought would be common sense..
