Ok but probably would not return.

Nice modern hotel and lovely rooms, very clean.

The night we stayed there was a massive kids sports function on so the hotel was very busy. Breakfast was very expensive at £15 per head but not much healthy options to choose from. Parking was expensive at £9 and you had to park over the busy road in a car park across the street which was hard to get to.

I would stay again

It was much nicer than expected given the location, it was very spacious

The housekeeping woke us up at 9am, banging on the door repeatedly until one of us eventually got up and opened, we didn’t need to check out till 11 it was unnecessary

Overall - good - but not quite worth the money (£340 for 2 nights)

Family room/s were really good - spacious and interconnecting - some of the best we have stayed in. Well located. Car park charge reasonable. Staff friendly and efficient.

The breakfast offering was much worse than Leonardo’s, which charges less - only 3 types of cereal and pastries were not fresh on Sunday sadly

Central location, friendly staff.

You need to change the pillows! They go as flat as a pancake once you lay on them. Couldn't get to use the fridge as it didn't work. No lighting by a mirror to apply makeup only standing in the bathroom.

The breakfast coffee machine was intermittently not working and coffee was very weak. My only other negative was the fact that several beers (Guiness and Leffe) were temporarily unavailable on the draught bar.

Stay at the Hilton great value for money.

The staff did a fantastic job in making our stay special. The room was very clean and modern. Great value for money.

The Hilton has a lot to offer guests. The surrounding area needs to work with the Hilton on a plan to offer tourists more choices to make tourists stay longer and spend money to support the community.

The room is big enough to even fit a family of 5 in there and we’re just 2 people and we loved it very much .

Eat out.

The location was perfect for the theatre and parking really close.

On return from the theatre, the staff were a bit stressed. Apparently the night porter hadn't shown? A few groups of guests, who were staying for the theatre that night also, all got back at the same time. It wasn't great, poor girl from reception tried her best but it was chaos at the bar. Also, the food wasn't great, edible but for the price disappointing. Breakfast was ok.

Accomdating, attentive and friendly staff made the visit

Receptionist on arrival was particularly friendly, genuinely seeming interested in our visit, chatty. The chef was accommodating to our needs, offering to do us some food despite it being between lunch and dinner, and being short staffed at the time.

Ideal for my requirements

Hotel was ideally located to where I was attending that evening. The car park was a little expensive but close to the hotel (just needed to cross a busy road) Reception and Bar area were clean and modern Room was also clean and modern with all the expected facilities and supplies and the bed was comfortable Breakfast was good - selection of pastries, cereals, juices, tea, coffee. Continental and Full English options and yoghurts

There was a big gap under the main entry door, so it let a lot of light into the room - I had to put a towel down to block it out, so that I could sleep
