Overpriced for what it is, and I got an accessibility room for some reason (I didn’t request this). The room was big but there were red dangly cords everywhere and no proper shower, just a washroom which flooded the entire bathroom every time I showered. Not ideal

Very helpful receptionist on arrival, nice warm comfortable room (very comfortable bed) good selection at breakfast, overall a very good one night stay.. The only observation for future customers is that if travelling by public transport as i was the hotel is not easy to find, having said that i would definately use this hotel again.

room clean but carpet could do with a clean,hallway carpet worn out needs replacing.television waste of time kept going off at night,bloody annoying.room was for two but only one chair,had to ask at reception and had to ask again after hours as nothing was done.evening meal first night nothing special for money so ate out after.all in all as far as i can see has gone down hill since last visit,bit of a shame but thats life.

Friendly staff and helpful - with useful fridge in room. Not enough milk with the coffee making facilities but soon got some more from reception. Some marks on upholstery and carpet in room which reception said would be passed onto the housekeeping staff. Pillows were extremely soft - which did not make for a good night's sleep unfortunately.

Had a lovely stay here as was down to visit Emma Bridgewater. The hotel was central with excellent parking across the road . we had a lovely twin room which was spacious and modern and clean . The reception staff were friendly and helpful . A nice busy bar with friendly staff which we enjoyed a drink in in the evening . We didn't dine in the hotel as ventured out in the evening to support the local businesses. Didn't try the gym . The only downside is there was no spa / sauna / pool but we knew that before we went . I would definately stay again .

Everyone at this facility were polite and helpful. Many useful things and places nearby, such as a big store with everything you need and want (grocery, electronics, cooking ware, and more). Only 2 - 3 blocks away, pedestrian friendly path to barber shops, restaurants, bar, pubs, coffee shops, and an indoor mall about 5 - 6 blocks away from hotel. Walking paths on the Trent River and more. Motorhead (Lemmy fans) can go to a statue in Burslem, a little bit north of the hotel as well. Staff, clean room, great hotel bar/restaurant setup. Parking available, but I didn't use it. I used Uber to get around, since I was on a schedule.

This hotels is beautifully presented, it was just a shame that the service received wasn’t of the same standard. The reception on arrival was lacking in any welcome or information about the hotel. The front of house team were all trying their best, but it was obvious that they were lacking in any managerial guidance or leadership. They only team member with good people skills was the night porter. What a shame!

Stayed for convenience for onward journey and it ticked the box. It feels like there’s not much sound proofing as you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms, banging doors to people in the corridor banging doors. It was reasonable and did what it needed to do. Person on reception checking us in had zero people skills…something quite important as the first port of call
