About this house rental
Welcome to our NEW, custom tiny home. Full, stocked kitchen, convection/microwave, dual hot plate, large farmhouse sink. Full size loft bed with new mattress. Memory foam futon that will also fold for additional sleeping surface. Full size, bathroom & shower with on-demand hot water heater. Everything is handcrafted and beautiful in this new place. There is a short path/walkway and there is a new deck, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs out front with awesome views.
The space
We are the perfect social distance destination. Privacy. Full kitchen. Incredible views. Cleaned and sanitized completely.

We are 5 minutes south of Cortez. We have 9 acres, dogs, cats, and free-roaming chickens & geese.
We have 3 separate and well-spaced AirBnbs on our property including another super cool tiny house (Mesa Verde Tiny House) and a charming casita (Mesa Verde Casita). All offer your privacy. If you’ve got a meetup or family get-together, this could work out great to rent out the tiny houses and/or the casita. All sleep 2-3.
If you are interested in exploring the area on horseback, JJ leads trail rides that explore adjacent McElmo Canyon that visit ancient Puebloan ruins. Let us know if you’re interested and we can coordinate with you!

Feel free to explore our property, hang by the pond, visit our animals, etc. If you’d like to have a fire in the fire pit, please send us a message and ask first (due to possible County fire restrictions).
Other things to note
We are taking COVID-19 precautions to the absolute MAX. Our cleaning is extensively thorough and everything is cleaned and sanitized between guests.
The full size loft bed requires climbing up and down a ladder. It’s comfortable up there, but it’s cozy!
We live in an economically depressed area and we pride ourselves in providing more than living wage employment to our cleaning staff. We often hate these fees (dont we?!), but please understand that the cleaning fee helps us offset some of that cost.
Fire Pit just outside for cautious use when we don’t have county fire restrictions. Please, you must check with us first.
We are about 10 minutes from Phil’s World and recommend Kokopelli Bike and Board where you can easily rent mountain bikes. I (JJ) usually ride there everyday and may be able to show you around.
We can (often) charge your electric vehicle with our 50amp RV plug and just ask for a simple donation left on the counter when you leave.

This was our first time staying in a tiny house. It had everything we needed for our short stay. The view is incredible, we enjoyed watching the sunset and rise. The owner was very accommodating as well.

So clean!! We had been traveling all across the Southwest and dodged up to CO to see Mesa Verde. This tiny house was the cleanest place we stayed! It was a bucket list experience and we enjoyed the nature of it. The heater worked well and we figured out how to get into the loft without banging our heads! It was snowing, so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the fire pit or the views. Very conveniently located to Mesa Verde. Our only complaint was that the water pressure was not great..
