Room: The room is a good size, with enough space to organize your belongings, a good wardrobe, and a work desk. The air conditioning is excellent and practically brand new. The large window makes the room very bright during the day, while the curtains allow you to make it completely dark when needed. The windows also have insect screens, which are great for keeping bugs out. Bathroom: The bathroom is simple, and the shower has no separation from the rest of the bathroom, so the floor gets wet after showering. For me, this actually turned out to be an advantage, as there is plenty of space to wash surfboard, clothes, and accessories after surfing. Amenities: There is a shared refrigerator available for guests, which partially solves the issue, but at night it can be a little inconvenient to leave the room to use it. Hotel and common areas: The hotel has a shared kitchen, a small swimming pool that is appropriate for the size and standard of hotels in the area, security cameras, and a 24-hour reception. Service: This was definitely one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. The reception staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. They also provide an excellent concierge service and are very helpful with information and local services. For a hotel in this category, the level of service is definitely above average, especially for the area. Location: The location is very good, close to the beach and several useful services, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, spas, shops, and official currency exchange offices. Overall, I had an excellent experience. It’s a simple but comfortable, safe, and well-located hotel with a fantastic team. Considering the price and everything it offers, I found the value for money to be excellent. I definitely plan to stay at The Lonceng Hotel again and especially recommend it to anyone looking for practical and comfortable accommodation in Canggu, particularly surfers.
