Ueno Asakusa Villa Matsugaya

New and clean apartment

The apartment is a typical narrow Japanese-style apartment spread over three levels. The layout is a little unusual. The biggest inconvenience for us was having to constantly climb up and down the stairs between the three levels. The arrangement of the toilet, shower and sinks was also rather strange and not very practical. The toilet has no hooks or hangers to hang clothes, which is inconvenient when using it. The dining table and sofa were also a little too small for our group, although we could manage. The kitchen amenities were quite limited too. There was no kitchen tissue or towel, and although pans were provided, there was no frying spatula. Overall, the apartment was manageable for a short stay, but the layout and limited facilities could be improved to make it more comfortable and convenient for guests.
