The location was fantastic, being close to train stations, restaurants, cafes and convenience stores. The surrounding streets were quiet and peaceful. The apartment was a comfortable size for a couple. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the apartment prior to check-in. Even though it was a self check-in, one of the owners greeted us on arrival and gave us a small gift.
The apartment was not particularly spacious, but was comfortable for two people. There is a narrow staircase to get to the second and third floors and no elevator, so you need to be able to carry luggage upstairs.

Compact but has everything one needs
The "window" open to the street (room is on ground floor, but it is a quiet street), so i didnt open the curtain, and therefore can feel a bit boxed in and dark in the room. But one is not home much while in tokyo!
