Terra Hotel Ueno - JR上野駅

Exactly what I wanted as a simple traveller. We had a great experience. The location is convenient and easy to find. It made getting around Tokyo very accessible since it is right off Ueno station, and it takes us to the airport directly , or on the shinkansen to Kyoto / Osaka. It is great as a base to settle, and for travelling to rest of Japan. Most importantly, the hotel was clean. Cleanliness is one of the most important things for me when choosing accommodation, and I was very satisfied with the condition of the room. The staff were also extremely helpful and responsive. I made a small mistake with my reservation and had a few questions through messages, and they responded very quickly and helped me resolve everything smoothly. Communication with them was easy and friendly. In short, it was good location, good value, quiet, simple, clean; I couldn't ask for more. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would love to be here again for my next trip when I am exploring Japan.

The room was very clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The location was reasonbly convenient and not too far from the main area, although it could be slightly challenging if you are travelling with young children. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and really enjoyed our time here. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The water heater was not very stable, with the water constantly switching between extremely cold and very hot. Also, the property’s signage wasn’t clear, a bit difficult to identify the property.

Highly recommended! Location was convenient! Very close to Ueno station and easy to navigate my way. Great access from other parts of Tokyo and direct Skytrain from the airport and Shinkansen station. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Their customer service team also responded very quickly and warmly. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again!
