sigiriya village home stay

Overall a good stay. We booked for two nights en the host helped us out with the safari 👍🏻 The guesthouse looks really nice and the beds are comfy. Only the shower in our room was really bad. The rest of the room was good.

What we experienced in a negative way is the daughter that plays with her little kitten like it is a toy/doll. We hope the owners will please teach her the right way to play with the kitten because it is really sad to watch 😔

Very comfortable bed with mosquito net and room. Mirror and hair dryer. Clean with nice bathroom. Nice area to sit outside room to socialize and enjoy the garden. Off the main road so quiet. Excellent breakfast and other meals made by Mali to suit my taste (nonspicy) at their restaurant on the main road. Cooking lessons offered, too. Loku and son went out of the way to make sure the stay was excellent and good value - where to buy large 5L? water bottle for 350 rupees next door; visit to sunset view of Sigiriya Lion's Rock, tuk tuk tours with excellent driver Sameera to see local area and wild elephants, and helping negotiate an excellent taxi rate to Tricomalee with a stop at an atm. Very nice family. Highly recommend.

Everything for leaving and comfort to commute nearby the sigiria fort. rooms was cleaned with good linen facility. bathroom are maintained clean with shor and hot water facility.
