Sleek Private Studio with Netflix in Moseley

Host was accommodating by allowing us an hour extended check out and to arrive 30mins early. The codes and key were all as described. The decor was simple but nice and clean for the most part. Sheets felt clean also. A hand and bath towel were provided although we opted to use our own. All listed facilities such as fridge and microwave etc were in working order.

There is a smell in the room, it’s a bit off putting at first. The bed seemed to slope inwards in the middle making it an uncomfortable night with two stuck in the slope. The heating didn’t seem to work despite finding the thermostat in the wardrobe, the room was absolutely freezing all night, we had goosebumps. The room was clean for the most part although there were globs of something splattered on the bathroom wall, general bits of grime in corners and foul smell from the microwave, we deduced may have been causing the overall room smell. The cleaner knocked for us to leave at the usual time as opposed to the agreed extra hour and went on to question whether we’d actually been granted it. Perhaps some communication on that end would’ve avoided awkwardness.

Good value studio, as advertised. Easy to pick up keys etc. nice and clean, decently equipped kitchen.
