Hostel 365 For U

The place is located in good area of Gruz near the port. It's about 5-10min on the bus to the old town with good options of buses passing, as well 30min walk from the main bus station, if travelling away. The staff was really nice and waited for me on late arrival. Also was able to take a zoom call after my check out hours in communal area without a problem. The facilities are modern, okay cleaned and inviting area is there. Not seen the kitchen or anything as was staying overnight only.

I did get bed bugs after staying, which is really disappointing on my first night in Dubrovnik.

The staff was incredibly accommodating of my late arrival, and made the process super simple, it was great. The hostel itself is kind of in an in-between location between the port and old town, which is not super central, but it is very easy to get to.

The top bunks lack the comfort and privacy screens that the lower ones have, so any light/sound/whatever cannot be muted or diminished. Also, in the peak croatian summer, it was very hard to bear the heat outside the rooms themselves - only there was proper AC, so trying not to wake your roommates and do stuff in the common areas becomes unbearable.

Η κουζίνα μικρή αλλά λειτουργική και τα μπάνια, αν και ήταν λίγα για τα άτομα που διεμεναν όσο έμεινα κι εγώ, πάντα υπήρχε κάποιο άδειο για να χρησιμοποιήσουμε. Οι υπάλληλοι εξυπηρετικοί και φιλικοί, με άφησαν να αφήσω και τις αποσκευές μου μέχρι να φύγω για το αεροδρόμιο. Δεν έχω κανένα παράπονο. Έχετε υπόψη μόνο ότι θα χρειαστείτε ωτοασπίδες σε περίπτωση που σας ενοχλεί ο θόρυβος καθώς το Hostel είναι σε κεντρικό δρόμο.

I had a terrible experience at this hostel and would not recommend it to anyone. The biggest issue was that I found bed bugs and was bitten multiple times during my stay. I even found one on my towel in the morning. This is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of hygiene and maintenance. The room conditions were also very poor. The beds had broken parts, there was no proper place to hang towels, no privacy in the beds and the air conditioning was not working properly, making the room uncomfortable. The bathroom next to the room was also not acceptable: one of the showers had no curtain, meaning there was no privacy. There were no keys for the rooms, meaning anyone could potentially enter. Even worse, the reception staff member, which was a man, was entering the female rooms with new guests without knocking first. This is extremely inappropriate — what if someone was changing clothes? Also there was no proper place to store luggage safely after checking out. Overall, this was one of the worst hostel experiences I have had. The hostel needs serious improvements in cleanliness, safety, and basic guest standards.
