Room was disappointing

The owners, especially the daughter, were friendly and helpful ... my disappointment was the room itself. I stayed at 6 different properties during my stay and most of them got top rating from me. This was the only accommodation I found disappointing. I had no issue with the aircon, and the bed was comfortable enough. Croatia is well worth visiting. The mountains, the coastal roads/views, the culture and old towns of Dubrovnik and Split.

Please note that my review is only based on my particular room, i.e. Single Room with Private Bathroom. The other rooms are probably ok. The description for this particular room was misleading. It stated it had a private bathroom and a private kitchen (see attached image). It did not. The bathroom was private but the kitchen was a shared kitchen. To make matters worse, my room was next to that kitchen and the window didn't open to the outside, it opened direct to the kitchen. This made the room dark and the noise of people cooking late at night was terrible, plus the corridor to their rooms went past my room. (See photos). If you want a quiet room and fresh air, I would not recommend this particular room. I stayed for two nights, in mid-August 2025. As mentioned, the other rooms at this property are probably ok. I'm only talking about this one room. It also says the room provides a tea and coffee maker. It doesn't. There is a kettle and coffee maker in the separate shared kitchen. (No coffee pods, tea bags, milk etc). Hopefully, this room specific information has been updated to avoid confusion.

Dissapointed. Not worth the money.

Bathroom didn't have even shampoo for hands. You could hear the next room when they went to toilet. When you enter the room there is a smell like something rotten. Bedspreads were not cleaned, you could see some stains on them. I would not recommend it defenitely!

Not recommended at all

It was kinda new and it has nice view..

First thing to mention.. unfortunately my glasses fell down under the bed, so i had to face the dirtiest spot on the apartment, probably the cleaner get bored but its insanely bad do not check after that as a host sometimes (because that spot was unclean for weeks) If you planning to take a shower, maybe you have to think twice because u have to be ready to mop the floor after that, even if u place a towel it will flood anyway.. and the water going everywhere in the bathroom 😅 Also the parking is insane up there (someone blocked our car and we couldn’t leave on time) The location is not good because is far from the old city and the house located in an uphill so its gonna be difficult to walk Also the share kitchen is not the best because u ne

still waiting for my refund!

nothing. wasn't able to stay there. 😪

we were notified 2 days before our booked date (Sept 21-23). that our room won't be available due to pipe broken in the room. Our flight leaves on the 20th, so i had to find and rebook something else in one day! They already charged me and asked me to contact booking.com to cancel, saying that way I can get my full refund faster, but as of today, Sept 24, there's still no refund!

The bedroom has an angled roof that makes on side on the bed inoperable to use The bed should be shifted or turned to change this. No water in bottles or pleasantries to soften the room

Our room was clean. We didn’t have time to use the common kitchen, but it looked very nice. Super friendly host who greeted us with a drink when we arrived. She also gave us tips on what to do in Dubrovnik 😊

Great people but wasn’t happy with facilities

Hosts were very nice

We were not told that our room would be an attic. I’m 5’4 and banged my head on the ceiling atleast 15 times. Breakfast was not that great- location also is very bad for Ubers to get to since the street is narrow and the walk to the bus is 3 huge stairs down a hill.

Dubrovnik Room

The patio was a nice place to relax. The shared kitchen was well stocked with glasses, dishes, pots and pans, an electric kettle, etc.

No hangars in the closet. No place to hang wet towels. Sheet and duvet were too small for the bed and for two people to share

The property had amazing views from the shared balcony - although shared it never felt intrusive making use of them which I was worried about. Great facilities to make our own meals as Dubrovnik is definitely on the more expensive side! Our bedroom was comfy, spacious and clean with well working A/C.

This property is extremely high up and quite difficult to get to. I would really not recommend to anyone who is disabled/too elderly to be prepared at some point in their trip to walk up what felt about 100 floors of steep steps up to the apartment. There is a bus that means you don’t have to do this but we found it to be quite inconsistent, or we occasionally got an Uber (which is super cheap in dubrovnik by the way, I imagine more so than a regular taxi). The bathroom situation is unique with a sit down half bath half shower, occasionally the hot water running out but other than this everything was great.

We were very disappointed as the room was not suitable for sleeping. Don’t recommend this property at all.

The daughter was very nice and they helped the driver to find a way to the property as the entries were blocked by cars parked everywhere making it difficult to enter the streets to the property.

The room was significantly impacted by mould and the smell was attempted to be covered by spraying room freshener by the owner. We informed them that the mould causes allergies and breathing issues and asked for another room. The owner said all was booked so we could not stay and had to find another place to stay. We sent a message to the owner requesting refund as the room was not safe to sleep and got no response. Also very difficult to get to. Not a good experience at all.

Beautiful view of Dubrovnik

Adaleta was friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable room in Dubrovnik. A scenic view from the balcony overlooking the Dubrovnik port.

The apartment is at an altitude, and if you don't take the bus, there is a small hike. Not a major complaint because Dubrovnik is along mountainous terrain, and you should expect that before coming to the city.

unfortunately there is no privacy in the room, the only window faces a wall and a small corridor, you could think the no light disadvantage will be compensated with privacy, BUT NO. On Sunday I wanted to stay in bed and a man, that I asume lives in the same house, started building or working with tools just outside the window (with transparent curtains). I could have been changing or whatever and there is no possibility to close or feel not observed. The same thing was repeated on Monday Plus late at night there is a woman speaking on the phone and dragging stuff in the kitchen, very hard to rest in there… The place is very noisy in general, you can hear the bathrooms and noises from the other rooms. I was looking for a calm place that aloud me to work, rest and visit some places during the evenings but I definitely didn’t get that
