Happysanur39

The place was really clean and tidy

It's really minor like the shower place can be overflow with water

I stayed at Happysanur 39 for 2 weeks with my son during September '26. Our rooms were great, modern and stylish with a mini-kitchen where we were able to prepare our breakfasts etc. The beds were comfortable and Wi-Fi was good. Our hosts were excellent and always friendly and helpful, any requests we made were attended to promptly. I liked the location which is in central Sanur and just inside the bypass. We were always able to get Grab pick-ups from here easily and quickly. The guesthouse has a small number of rooms on 2 levels, so it is not a busy or hectic place, The gardens and plants are lovingly cared for so that I enjoyed admiring them each time I went in or out.

Nothing

You won’t regret staying here! The staff is so friendly and they are very nice to talk to. The location is great, it’s easy to travel to the city, but to the beach as well. I’ve seen reviews complaining about the busy road behind the homestay, but I think that depends on how much of a light sleeper you are, I personally wasn’t bothered by the traffic at all and slept through the ‘noise’. The room itself was very clean and cozy. I wouldn’t bring too much luggage, because then you’ll have little space, but it’s definitely good enough. WiFi is also reliable. It’s not perfect all of the time, but that’s normal. If you want to work here, it’s definitely possible.

The bathroom would be smelly after showering and sometimes I’d hear a loud noise coming out. Honestly, about the smell, I’ve noticed it in almost every stay in Bali and they cleaned really well, so I don’t think they can do much about it. About the noise, if you close the door you won’t really hear it anymore.

Lovely family run Happy Sanur. Rooms clean and bedding seemed new and comfortable.

The noise unfortunately it’s located very close to the bypass and the traffic noise is my room was loud. Perhaps a downstairs room would be quieter.
