place needs a spruse up. The room we were in is getting dated

It's been a grand hotel in It's day. The facilities could use a bit of TLC, but it was clean enough and fairly comfortable. Good value for the price, considering the excellent location. This is not the place for a 'fussy Princess' to stay. But if you are used to budget travel in SE Asia, it's fine 🙂

We stayed in a room upstairs, and it was quite a climb for an 'older' couple, especially carrying luggage! The ground floor rooms looked nicer, and I would consider staying here again if a ground floor room was available.

Position, pool, parking for bike.

Shower was weak, needs a deep clean around the bathroom.

Booked spontaneously due to flight issues . It's very basic and simple. And I mean very simple. You get soap and fresh towels daily. The shower has great pressure, with consistent warm water which I hadn't nessasary at a 3 / 4star hotel. Room 3 has newer bathroom facility. There is a kitchen to use but unfortunately everything is very dusty , same for the rooms. Didn't touch the pool as it hasn't flowing water. Front terrace is spacious. The homestay itself is nice with greenery, neat and the outside & terrace gets sweeped daily. Superb location.
