Perfect position!

This homestay was a pleasant surprise! Stayed in a superior room and it was spacious, exceptionally clean, and ideally located. Just across the road from Bali Icon with easy access to the beach and markets. Minimarts out front, and the Owl Cafe just metres away for breakfast, coffeeor dinner.. Despite being in the busy strip, the homestay is tucked down a short lane which gives you privacy and yes, it's quiet! As a solo female traveller I felt secure on my accommodation and was pleasantly and promptly greeted by the owner. The bathroom was huge, great shower pressure, toiletries provided. Drying rack and good sized refrigerator a bonus. Superb wifi, icy air con, comfortable bed. Small but well maintained cortyard/garden area and the outdoor seating and table provided a good place to relax and enjoy the respite you need after a day out. Will definitely stay again and book for longer knowing how clean , quiet and accessible Vinandaka is. Perfect for spending days perusing Sanur beach stip and Icon then retreating to a quiet clean space.

Basic budget, down town.

It was really close to down town sanur, directly opposite icon mall. Easy access to every thing.

I must have booked a Standard room, which it was. This is budget accom. The room was small, no tv, noisy fridge, no out side shared kitchen facilities, very basic. If your counting coins and don't have alot of money for accom and want to be close to every thing this place will work for you. Nice ppl, she has wurung out the front of the property. Very convenient.

Very disappointed by the owners but not the room

Beautiful room, linen, furniture and bathroom. Loved the little outdoor seating area too. Had a bedding change mid week I wasn’t expecting that was lovely.

Owners smile when they see you but there’s no customer relations at all and no interaction unless you instigate, No laundry service, no suggestions where to go, no breakfast or menu offered which is something I really didn’t understand as there’s a small restaurant/bar for locals rhere. On a 24h rainy day I eventually got one but easy to tell that wasn’t standard practice. The Cooking prep smells from 7 & Noise from 11-6 from the customers in an otherwise very calm environment considering it’s opposite Icon and on the main road. I was there for a week and on crutches I really would have appreciated a little more interaction from à homestay especially as they live next to the room I was in. The number I was given wasn’t theirs number to contact them in in case I fell or needed any assistance which made me feel uncomfortable plus it was Christmas. Guests constantly saying « hello hello » to try to locate them as there’s no real reception area or way of contacting them. Even check out you just leave… no interaction unless you see them.

Amazing stay in a beautiful property!

Everything! This property was clean, beautiful and in an amazing location. The staff were so friendly and greeted me every morning and even let me keep my bags there for 2 hours after checkout.

this is our second stay in this homestay - but this time only the normal room available , yes it was cheaper . but the quality such a big difference. the location is great, right in front of the icon shoppingmall

the cheaper room was dirty, room full of mold, you can smell and see it. yes it was cheaper, as i thought only gonna be a smaller room, as the more expensive one was full (we stayed on the newer room few months ago and we love the place). at least can clean it from the mold 🙃

Fresh towels

Large area of mould on bedroom and bathroom ceilings. Exceptionally old fridge that made a house all night long. Fridge was against my bed level with my head. Exceptionally narrow bathroom/shower area. I touched the walls on both sides when I sat on the toilet. The old thin quilt on the bed didn't have a cover. It never smelt fresh and clean. No television as shown in the advertisement.

Tiny room for cheap price

The location is great! Right opposite Icon Mall. You can walk through the mall and it leads to the beach. It’s on the main road, but it still very quiet. The property has beautiful landscaping and is clean.

My standard room was very small - if you have more than one bag it will be hard to access your stuff. Also, the bathroom was kind of a hall way with the toilet weirdly tucked in by the shower. It also had a tiny sink, so you have no where to leave your toiletries. My room was mostly clean but the fridge was pretty dirty inside. I did see one of the larger rooms and that looked a lot nicer.

Wonderful accommodation and Great Location

Great location and quality. also met the owner who was very friendly also has a little shop on site which was nice. We are looking at returning with the family next August and hope to hiring 4 of the Superior Double Rooms but struggling to find availability. hopefully we find something as we would love to stay again

Room with balcony (superior double room) was super clean, very modern, excellent bathroom, good wifi, good location next to Icon Mall and Happy Monkey restaurant. Gardens and grounds are very well kept.

Bed was 8/10, standard Bali bed, a little firm for us, but had 4 pillows, so still comfortable sleep.

Horrible mold in the room.

Late check in

Horrific mold smell in the room, the ceiling had wet stains all over, the bathroom smelled like sewage. I couldn’t sleep all night after a 20 hours flight. Horrible experience. For this price you can get much better conditions in sanur.

Didnt like homestay

I like the location and it was quit there.

We come and i firstly check how clean room is 1. It WAS DIRTY under the fridge and i ask the guy to clean. He take mop and clean quickly and go out. 2. I feel not good small from toilet but i thought maybe soon it will be ok, but not. All time small stay and i dont want stay there i wanted to go out... 3. Fridge sometimes do so scary noise so it disturb me because fridge stand near the bad. 4. The toilet door is almost from transparent plastic so whan i go to do pi pi my son see me. 5. And in the next morning I SAW REAL DIRTY under the bad, mama mia, i cant believe. The staff dont know how to clean the room.

Perfect

Everything Very Comfortable. Perfect location Gorgeous gardens Met some regulars from NZ and Aus - Dennis and John. So kind and nformative. What better review than long stay returning guests. We stayed one night en route to Lembongan but id happily book a longer vacation there. Lovely. Literally a Ross the road from the Icon mall and the beach *thanks to Dennis and John for telling us that!)

Stayed in very new upstairs room 9, all furniture looked brand new too, very large bathroom, large smart tv, new aircon, extra filtered water free, wifi excellent, across road is Icon Bali shopping mall & trough to beach, out fron is Owl cafe, or even lunch in house at Bu Wayans Warung.

Comfortable and modern stay for a great price

An incredibly nice place, especially for the price. The bathroom was so nice with a modern shower with hot water and it didn’t flood the floor. Bed was super comfortable with a nice duvet. Nice outdoor area as well and it was set back from the street so it was quiet.

Only negative was the sliding bathroom door always slid wide open (lock didn’t work) so you couldn’t close the bathroom door which wasn’t ideal. Also the air conditioning was really weak so the room was a bit warm at night, especially because the bathroom door was always open.

Absolutely amazing and at such a low price.

This place is directly opposite the Icon shopping center, a 5 minute walk to the beach, through the Icon. It's quiet and the rooms in the two storey building are quite new and look great and spacious. I didn't see the smaller rooms in the older part. They are cheaper. It was so relaxing, sitting in the balcony. We stayed there for 3 days before going to Tangerang(Java) and couldn't get the same place, for when we get back to Sanur(so sad). I'll have to book early next time. The price was so cheap. My friend paid double the price for her room at the hotel next door, but was disappointed with her room and couldn't believe how nice my humble Homestay was.

Everything was good, except, we didn't get bathroom accessories, like shampoo(but that was fine) and face towel. I'll book in for sure, on my next trip.

1) Smoking is allowed in the porch in front of guest rooms, which is uncomfortable for me. The porch isn't 100% open-air. It gets very smelly if your neighbors smoke. 2) The bathroom smells like sewerage. 3) There's a fridge beside the bed. It's convenient but noisy. Every night I unplugged it before going to bed.
