It’s getting old and good do with a good clean in the bathroom and kitchen

The new pool and bungalows right in front of it were nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the cafe next door great! The bathroom is wheelchair accessible. It’s also a nice short walk to the night market, the mall, laundry, massage and restaurants.

It does require severe renovations in some parts. Our first room close to the old pool had mold in the bathroom. They changed us to another one instantly though. In another one the AC wasn’t working. And I hurt my knee on some broken tiles inside the kids pool. But overall I’d still come again a it’s great value for the price and the staff go out of their way to help you.

Clean and cheap and easy to walk to warungs and beach

Beautiful gardens, great pools, there are 2, 1 for kids and 1 for adults. The room was a decent size and there was parking for cars and scooters which you really do need as the location is close to the bypass.

Unfortunately I have to give a bad review for this place, there were some serious problems. I did not get the room I booked when I arrived and had to wait 4 days before I could move to it and was still charged the same amount. The wifi in both rooms was very bad, I had to go sit outside reception. The TV reception was also poor with a very fuzzy picture, not a problem for me as I don't watch tv but it could be for some people. The big problems I experienced were; There was only hot water for a shower between 10am and 7pm, like it was solar hot water with a broken booster. I did see people on the roof looking at the hot water system in the middle row of units but my side was not working for the 3 weeks of my stay. Very annoying and you would think all this was bad enough but every day or 2 a neighbor would burn rubbish and the smoke would come in through the air conditioner. It was horrible and when I complained to reception the man I spoke to didn't care. People need food, water and fresh air, its very important. I had no choice but to turn off my air conditioner as soon as I smelt the burning rubbish and leave the unit, it was horrible. My friend in the middle row of units was effected but not as badly. Until this problem is fixed I highly recommend not staying on the left hand side of Janan Villas. I think the more expensive 2 story places on the right side might not be effected by the smoke but I won't be back to check. I will stay somewhere else....
