It’s Nice for being close to the town and the Tempel

The people were really nice and the atmosphere! Surf option was good

We had the feeling that the cleaning people didn’t really do the job. For example they just turned the towel for the feet around and you could see the stains. Or the shower was a bit moldy!

Very nice hostel!

Very nice location, I was in a 20 people bedroom but it was incredibly quiet and everyone was respectful of the noise and to tidy their luggages correctly. Beds are very nice. Careful the beds are super high if you are on a top bed. Staff is very nice! Bathrooms are super nice, it's super clean everywhere

Inconvenient system for the luggages: small locker in the room, and you're supposed to leave your big backpack outside of the room, on the ground floor (rooms are on the 1st floor). So really inconvenient to get your stuff

Only stayed for 1 night but was very good from what I saw

Location was awesome just a short walk to the main stop along the beach! Beds were very clean and organized! Adequate storage for luggage, one big locker and one small locker both with lock and key!

The property is on a main road so it’s a little busy and hard to cross the road

Nice homestay tucked away from busy main road.

Plunge pool for cooling down and under cover so cool when hot and sheltered when wet. 24/7 front desk. Privacy capsule and sufficient locker space. They organised airport pick up for me at additional cost. Shops conveniently close. Walked to and from ferry for day trip to Nusa Penida. Plenty of transport options being on a main road. Staff very helpful allowing me to pay by card for taxi etc and they pay them. Hot water for drink is in a big thermos which keeps heat well. No milk as is Indonesian style so need to have your own. Facilities very clean.

On a very busy main road. Lockers outside downstairs and my assigned locker required me lifting my big bag high. Instead I kept it by my bed.

Cold & Calculating Staff. The Spirt Airlinea of hostels.

If you are just looking for a place to sleep. As in you will be in late and leave early it is fine. This place is like a Spirit airlines it gets the job done but their inflexibility leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth.

I asked for a place to keep my things, they don’t have one. Then I realized checkout was at 12 and I asked if I could keep my things in the locker till 12:30. Response, “no. It is extra.” Ok I’ll come back at 12. Can I shower when I get back? “No, it is extra.” Ok I got back in time. Can you just give me 10 extra minutes. “No it is extra.” Ok, can you give me 5 minutes. “No it is extra.” Dob you have filtered water. “No it is extra.” This place is ruined by this petty penny pinching and lack of hospitality.

Nice one big-dorm hostel in the main road of Sanur

I liked the whole structure. Luckily the 20 bed dorm was not fully booked and the big dorm was quiet.

The only thing I did not like was that the structure is built along one of the most traficked road. And it was quite noisy.

Nice place

Close to Sanur Port (10-15min walk). I always come here on the way to/from Nusa Penida. Very clean and tidy place, beds very comfortable. The restaurant makan padang close by has great affordable local food

Great dorm, would stay again

Nicely organised clean dorms with lockers. I arrived relatively late and left early, but the beds were nice little pods with curtains - each with power and a light for a feel of privacy where it would otherwise be challenging. Would definitely stay here again when passing through or before getting on the nearby ferries.

Nothing complain about. I will say that the washing / sinks / shower facilities / toilets were almost in the same room as the bed pods. However, don't let this out you off as it wasn't a big concern and people were considerate of the house rules (22:00 shh!).

Not my favourite

Close to Sanur Port. Spacious room and bed. Offered help with calling a doctor for me.

Not the warmest welcome, noise from traffic, staff sweeping the floor outside multiple times a day, starting at 6 in the morning and a high pitch beeping (not their fault, but annoying). Quite dusty and the tea pot was dirty, could have been cleaned better in general. The bathroom is a bit awkward, the toilet is too low and too small for men… and if you take a shower the whole bathroom is wet.

Convenient for the port.

I stayed in one of the rooms not a dormitory. The room was big and clean. The shower was good. The bathroom's air vent went out to what sounded and smelled like the kitchen area which was a bit odd. The place was near to the port and D'Camel's office which is what I wanted. In the morning, I was able to bump my wheeled suitcase along the road, fortunately facing the traffic so I did not risk being killed on the horribly busy bypass road.

Fine for one night if you want to be near the port. Not for longer. Too near the busy road.

Great place to stay for the port

Great stay at Made Hostel. The main reason I stayed in Sanur was so that I could get the ferry to Nusa Penida. This hostel was perfect location wise. Only a 10/15 min walk to the port. Also reasonably close to some nice restaurants at the night market. It was really clean and the showers were good. There was a privacy curtain too which was great.

It was a little difficult to find at first. Maybe a bigger sign to highlight where the hostel is would be helpful.

Excellent for a quick stay and close to the airport

It’s relatively close to Sanur Beach (5m in motorbike) and plenty of nice spots to eat or drink coffee nearby.

Everything was perfect for my two night stay there.

Nice place.

Really nice spacious room, good location, friendly staff. Really appreciated that they had hot water for coffee ready for me when I got up at 4:30 a.m. for an early flight.

I stayed a week; the internet and the hot water both got sketchy after the first few days. I didn't complain about the hot water though, so that's partly on me.

Very good for one nighters

Location is great , walking distance to the harbour. The bed was surprisingly comfy , and the dorm very quite despite being a dorm of maybe 20 beds.

No breakfast , all chargeable . Common area is basically just the checkin area, a little small.

Hot showers! Very clean dorm and slightly larger beds than what you'll be used to if you've been staying in other capsule hostels. Air conditioned and clean bathroom facilities. Lockers for bags as well.

Good hostel if you want to crash before or after your ferry in Sanur. I recommend going to the nearby sunrise point also.

I loved staying here!

The bathrooms and beds are clean. The airconditioning is great too. Also the staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is great, because it’s close to the beach and the harbour. Even though there was a road nearby, it didn’t bother me much as I always sleep with earplugs and I have headphones as well.

Perfect for catching a ferry in the morning, I could walk to the port, only about 8 minute walk. The bed was cozy, it was very quiet and clean even though there were a lot of beds in the room.

Very good accomodation, the room is big and very clean. You can cooking if you want. There is a small pool, pleasant for the evening after a long hot day. It is calm and quiet.

Staff super lovely!! I had a tiny incident while staying and they were really understanding and helpful. Also the place is very clean they are cleaning it many times a day. The capsule-like sleeping situation is very spacious. Would recommend!

beds were large, very comfortable and private. very happy in the dorm. clear room rules re bags in locker system which worked really well. close to the pier to get the boat.

the high bunks were really high and I didn’t feel that comfortable getting up and down, but for my taller friend they didn’t have an issue. I wish I was on bottom bunk. bathroom had no doors to separate it from the dorm
