A budget option for budget travellers

You get what you pay for… we booked for one night as decided to move from Ubud to Sanur one day early. This place is a good budget option. Has about 6 rooms. Beds comfy. Breakfast options. Nice staff. Very quiet and secure.

Again, you get what you pay for. No extras like soap at the hand basin. Small room but expected.. we had twin beds.

Nice place to stay

The property is nice and quiet. Like many home stays it has a little garden with a “temple shrine” at the property which is nice. Breakfast is served right in front of the room. AC works well and fridge is nice. Very short walk to the beach and lots of good restaurants around!

Good value for money for short stay.

Great location. Minutes from the beach, stores and restaurants. The position of my room meant it was always cool when I got back, which was such a relief from the Bali heat. The staff were lovely and allowed me to check in an hour or so early. Breakfast was simple but filling. And nice to have it on the terrace. Located in quiet lane which I really appreciated at night. Good value for money. There is an adorable cat.

I was a bit surprised to see there was no window which felt a bit closed in but I guess it helps keep the room cool. It didn’t feel so clean, in particular de bathroom floor felt a bit dirty the whole time, basic hygiene is definitely there (toilet etc) but not sparkling clean like other Bali places.But I didn’t mind as only stayed two nights.

Nice place in Sanur

Great value for money! We only stayed one night, but the staff helped us book a taxi the next morning to get to Padangbai for the ferry. The location is convenient in Sanur, with many warungs around. Of course, you can find more luxurious places, but for this price it’s really excellent!

Nice comfortable bed and great location in Sanur! We were leaving early on our last morning and the staff kindly made us breakfast early

Some ants in the room but this is normal in Asia and the staff provided ant killer

SIMONS HOMESTAY IS A TERRIFIC HIDEAWAY IN THE HEART OF SANUR.

Simons Homestay is a terrific little hideaway in the heart of Sanur. Yogi and his family are wonderful hosts. My room was perfect for one person - and two people could fit comfortably. The room comes with a fridge, which is handy. The bathroom is adequate in size and very clean. The bed was comfortable and came with extra cushions so you can sit up and read. Breakfast was a pleasant bonus during my stay. There's ample choice within a limited menu and turnaround time was very prompt. Overall, Simons Homestay is tremendous value within a central location. It's a short 300m walk to the beach and approximately 150m from the essential Hardy's supermarket for supplies. I'll definitely be revisiting Yogi and his lovely family at Simons Homestay the next time I'm visiting Sanur.

Very nice comfortable stay in the heart of Sanur

My stay was very comfortable and it has breakfast included in the rate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Has a lot of nice cafes, restaurants and super markets just a few minutes walk away. The room was also very clean.

Sometimes you hear voices inside if the kids are playing outside or other guests are talking loudly.

A pleasant surprise in a prime location, quiet clean and great value for money.

I was a little anxious about renting this property due to the limited number of reviews, however, having stayed in a similar areas in the past I thought I would give it a go as it was only for a single night. And what a pleasant surprise, a very quiet, clean, simple, but nicely appointed room, spacious enough for a single traveller, cool AC, nice hot water, a quiet little fridge, spaces to store your gear and thoughtful little additions like multi point power adapters near the bed, as well as nice fresh linen with cover sheets and a blanket,... They offer a simple breakfast with a local and western choices along with Coffee and fruit, served in your courtyard balcony. This will most likely become a regular stay for me... well done!!

If I really want to be picky, the morning coffee with milk should be a standard option... instead of only black... but that;s not a complaint, just a suggestion. :-)

Gemütliches Homestay

Ein liebes Ehepaar führt das Homestay, sie kümmern sich wirklich fürsorglich um die Gäste. Gutes Frühstück gibt es im Warung, das zum Homestay dazugehört. Ich hatte das Superior Zimmer, das sehr sauber und hell war. Vom Balkon aus Sicht auf Mt. Agung, zum Strand 3 Minuten zu Fuß.

Na krátký pobyt dostačující, pozor na pokoj č. 5

V docházkové vzdálenosti na pláž, je teda potřeba přejít jednu rušnější silnici, ale to není žádný problém. Ubytování v pořádku, jen by bylo fajn dát informaci do nabídky na Bookingu, že se jedná o pokoj BEZ oken, pouze okenice. Takže tam je pořád tma, nedá se větrat a působí to dost klaustrofobicky. Ale ne všechny pokoje, pouze č. 5. K dispozici jednorázové kartáčky, “mýdlo” ve sprcháči, ručníky, klimatizace. Dvě malé vody. Na snídani výběr ze dvou druhů jídel.

Pokoj bez oken. Nebyla jsem na to nijak upozorněna.

Ruhige, preiswerte Unterkunft in zentraler Lage

Das Homestay liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Sackgasse, die direkt von der Touristenstraße abzweigt. Geschäfte und Restaurants liegen gleich um die Ecke, ebenso der Strand. Das Zimmer war für 1 Person sehr groß, für 2 Personen ausreichend. Kühlschrank ist praktisch, Klimaanlage läuft leise. Ich habe den kleinen Balkon vor dem Zimmer sehr geschätzt.

Beim Frühstück gab es wenig Auswahl, aber eigene Kombinationen waren möglich.

Чисто, дуже гарне розташування. Є чисті рушники та зубні щітки та паста. Є 2 невеликі пляшки води.

Загалом все ок, але є величезне але: номер немає вікна та вентиляції і вони для чогось кладуть просто отруйну кульку з дуже їдким запахом від якого аж очі червоніють та важко дихати. Поки я зрозуміла, що це і поки не викинула в номері взагалі небезпечно було знаходитись. Спати теж через це було важко, бо воно не вивітрилось, а спати з відкритими дверима я не наважилась. Персонал наче є і наче немає. Після чекауту немає куди в туалет сходити навіть.

Если честно, это худший отель за все мои путешествия.

Есть крыша над головой, уже хорошо. Есть туалетная бумага, полотенца, холодильник и бесплатное постельное белье. Может служить, как вариант камеры хранения багажа, если вам нужно куда-нибудь отъехать. Завтраки простые, не сказать, что разнообразные, но они есть.

В туалете нет даже ершика, для унитаза, не говоря уж о зубных щетках и зубной пасте. Вентиляции в туалете я не нашла, но даже если она где- то и была, по-видимому не работала, все запахи шли в номер, нужно было открыть дверь, что бы проветрить. Персонал это отдельная тема, вроде он есть, но найти сложно. ОЧЕНЬ не навязчивый. Его практически не видно. При заезде не проинформировали время завтрака, вечером персонал( что бы спросить про завтрак) не нашли, увидели бабульку которая окуривала территорию, спросили у нее. Отель- проживание в семье, она член семьи, думали, что должна знать. Но напрасно так думали. Она сказала, что завтрак с 8 утра. А утром экскурсия в 8 часов начинается, в итоге уехали без завтрака. Потом выяснилось, что завтраки с 7 часов начинаются. И да, если вам нужен чайник, его в номере нет, то его можно взять на ресепшен, там стоят несколько чайников.

Nous n'étions que de passage et donc avons peu profité de l'hôtel. Néanmoins, il m'a paru fonctionnel et relativement confortable. Nous avons pu faire un check-in tardif et organiser un transport rapide pour le lendemain.

La climatisation d'une chambre ne fonctionnait pas. Nous ne l'avons pas signalé cependant. Les draps synthétiques donnent un peu trop chaud.

Het was niet veel bijzonders, maar om te slapen prima. Ook ontbijt was prima.
