The room is really clean. It’s got a small kitchen. It’s run by a lovely family, they’re all nice and friendly. It’s by the main road, easy to find.

Welcoming Family Compound: Private, Friendly & Super Convenient

Edwin and Tika were wonderful hosts with seamless communication before my arrival. I stayed a relaxing 10 days at Mesari Homestay—plenty of options nearby, crossing Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai no drama at all, and Gojek for food or rides was a breeze. Edwin's delivery tips hit the spot; nothing was ever too much trouble. It's a peaceful and spacious family compound blending privacy with those delightful family moments. Invited to a ceremony on-site, I felt right at home. Keen for my next stay.

The large suite was ace overall, but a couple of tweaks could make it even better. The wall-mounted counter and stools sat at an awkward height, making it tricky to perch for meals. The lounge area worked okay but the sofa was too compact to properly stretch out on, and the design felt a bit fiddly with the cushions.

Exceptional hospitality from a lovely host family🙏

Absolutely amazing hospitality. I experienced a few hiccups upon arrival, but once the host acknowledged my concerns he truly did his very best to make up for them. I really appreciated that, as it made me feel valued during my stay. The room amenities also stood out. You can clearly tell how much effort and attention to detail the host has put into the space!

If you are a light sleeper, consider booking the deluxe room rather than the standard room as the standard rooms are located closer to the street.

We absolutely loved staying at Mesari; it was truly the highlight of our time in Bali. The hosts treated us like family—they were so incredibly kind. Having our own kitchen in the studio was a game changer, and they went above and beyond by helping with our laundry and watching our bags while we traveled. We're so grateful for their warmth!

The room was spacious and clean. All the necessary is there. There is a pleasant patio too. The staff is gentle and ready to help.

The proximity with the main intensively-trafficked road which is really close was a big issue for me. At night, it was very noisy, at least for me m, and I couldn’t sleep properly. But the worst was to cross the road to reach the beach or any other location in the touristic area; super scary and extremely dangerous! (there are two lanes per traffic direction to cross, and cars and motorbikes would never stop or slow down).

Just simply amazing! Loved every moment.

This place felt like home. Edwin and Tikka were so friendly and accommodating. The room was great. The wifi was great. The location is close enough to walk to where I wanted to go. I’ll definitely stay there next time. It’s the best place I’ve stayed in Bali and I’ve been coming for years.

The only problem I have is that I didn’t stay longer. 4 days wasn’t enough. If it wasn’t booked out I would have happily lost the money for the next hotel and stayed here for as long as I could. Honestly… if you stay here you won’t be disappointed.

It's such good value for money. The bed is comfortable with fresh new bedding. There is a fridge, cooker, TV, cutlery, air-conditioning... All high-quality. Many nice small extra details like flowers in the room. Big room. Lovely staff. It could be the best place I've stayed for the price

It's near the road, so there is noise from the road, but I expected that when I booked it. The only thing I could suggest is maybe thicker curtains

Good value for money but too noisy

The property and room was gorgeous: beautiful garden, spacious bedroom, possibility to cook something simple. It was perfect for one night and great to discover Sanur.

Unfortunately the noise from the road made it very difficult to sleep and relax. It would have been nice to have a different room or have earplugs provided. The fact the property is big but does not rent scooters was a bit of a negative point for me (not common in Indonesia)

The friendly owners and the clean accommodation with a small kitchen made my stay wonderful. Even though I stayed only two nights, they kindly provided fresh towels every day😊

Fabulous place to stay, would definitely recommend

A fabulous place. Lovely setting, well thought out and planned. Very clean. Owners are fabulous, very helpful. Location is good being 15 min walk from main shopping and eating, as is beach. A/C good. Nice to have a stove top to be able to cook own food. WI-FI good.

Being picky as all fabulous, but a bigger pan to cook would have been good.

It was amazing

The staff was incredible they answered all of our questions very quickly. They allowed us to check in early and were very helpful during the whole trip I couldn’t recommend this place more. Great location close to the beach and all of the shops and restaurants. Place was very clean with great wifi I honestly had 0 complaints I would highly recommend this place!

Best hosts and new facilities

Beautiful room, very clean, comfortable bed and good internet. The hosts are the best, extremely friendly and helpful.

Not their fault, but the place is located on the main road and it's tough to cross the street. The noise didn't reach my room though, which is great. The toilet would benefit from a window (not sure about the other rooms, but mine didn't have it).

Super Friendly and Kind Hosts

The family who run this homestay are so friendly and kind but they also respect your privacy. Nothing is too much trouble. It is clean and welcoming. Close to Sanur beach but quiet. Bed is comfortable. There is a smart TV. Extremely fast and reliable internet. And they stored my bags for 4 days for free while I went to Lombok and Gili Air. I 100% recommend them.

Exceptional and amazing

Quite the exceptional property. Everything was spotless. New, well thought out and made to function well. Edwin and his wife take hospitality to another level. Their experience working in a 5 star hotel shows. The cleaning staff are the best I’ve seen in all or my travels. The birds that are kept nearby are a delight to wake up with each morning.

주인분이 매우 친절하였습니다. 비행기 및 수속 문제로 새벽에 도착했으나 매우 친절하게 체크인해주셨습니다. 숙소는 크고 깔끔하였고 숙소 안 작은 정원들도 매우 아름답고 인상적이었습니다. 가격 대비 정말 만족스러워 다음에도 다시 방문하고 싶습니다. 특히 주인분의 친절함과 진심어린 미소가 기억에 남습니다. 이후 숙박한 하얏트 리젠시 발리의 5성급 직원들과 같은 친절함에 진심이 느껴지는 응대였습니다. 다시 한번 감사드립니다.

발리의 깨끗한 가정집 홈스테이입니다. 해변과는 약 20분 정도 거리지만 이른 아침과 해 지고 나서는 선선해서 걸어다닐 때 힘들지 않았어요. 맛집 찾아다닐 때도 예쁜 골목을 지나서 걸어다니기 좋구요! 구글맵에는 큰길을 건널 때 횡단보도가 상당히 위쪽으로 떠서 도보 이동 시간이 길게 나오지만 대문 앞에 도로 중앙분리대를 통과할 수 있는 틈이 있어서 눈치껏 건너면 빨리 길을 건널 수 있더라고요. 사장님과 사모님의 밝은 미소가 오래도록 기억될 것 같아요. 떠나는 날 깜짝 놀랄 선물도 정말 감사했습니다.🥭 셋째 아이도 건강하게 순산하시길 빌어요🙏🏻

불편한점이나 문의사항 있으면 왓츠앱으로 연락달라고 하셨는데 3일동안 청소를 안해줬는데 그게 제가 해달라고 해야 해주는건지 그건 잘모르겠습니다 하지만 해달라고 얘기하면 해주실거 같아요 수건도 갈아달라고 요청해서 갈았습니다

룸 컨디션 생각외로 너무 좋음~ 깨끗하고 관리 잘되고 방넓고 테라스도 맘에들고 넷플이나 유튭 연결되어있어서 방에서 놀기도 좋음 냉장고있어서 음식이나 물사다놓기 편리함 혼자여행이었는데 안전하고 주인도 너무 친절하고 담에가도 갈만함

위치.....흠 어차피 그랩이나 고젝으로 이동하거나 배달하거나해서 그닥 큰 불편은 아니나 집주변 산책 이런거 불가 나가면 바로 도로임 ㅎㅎ 그런데 또 번화가는 멀지않아서 다닐만함 바로 건너편 걸어서 와룽끄칠 있음....근데 거기까지가는 10분남짓 걸어서 차길 건너가는데 잠시 생명의위협을 느낄수있음 걍 그후로 계속 그랩사랑 ㅋㅋ

호텔 같은 홈스테이.

홈스테이지만 방의 인테리어, 청결도, 침구류, 집기류는 4성급 호텔 수준입니다. 숙소 관리가 일반 홈스테이 수준이 아니라서 여쭤보니 사장님이 불가리 리조트에서 근무하셨던 호텔리어셨다고.. 운영하시는 가족 분 모두 친절하셨구요, 사누르 해변이랑 가까워서 산책하기 좋았습니다. 깔끔하고 편안한 숙소라, 한번 연장했습니다.

첫번 째 방에서는 모기가 좀 있었습니다. 아마 문 열어 놓고 청소할 때 들어온 듯. 연장하며 옮긴 방에서는 없었구요. 그리고 이건 숙소 측에서 개선할 수 없는 부분이긴 한데, 4차선 도로 옆이라 (한국 산업도로 같은 느낌의) 차량 통행 소음이 있습니다. 도로 쪽 건물은 좀 심하고 제일 안쪽 건물은 괜찮았습니다.

발리에서 보기 드문 너무너무 깨끗한 숙소 그리고 항상 마시는 물 양치할 물 고민이 있는 발리인데 무려 정수기가 설치되어 있어서 투숙하는 4일동안 물떨어질까 고민을 처음으로 안해본 숙소에요 또한 주인분들 역시 너무너무 친절하십니다 5점 만점에 10점 주고 싶네요~!
