The host Anna is super friendly and accommodating. She arranged for someone to meet us at the front door, who then helped us carry the suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. The apartment is very stylishly decorated and well appointed, and is a 5-minute walk to the center of the old town. There is no air conditioning, which may be an issue during the summer, but for September the 2 fans were sufficient.

Great location in Citta Alta .. large rooms , comfortable beds and everything in kitchen and lounge area that you need for comfortable stay.
Good communication from hosts and when we requested a fan they delivered it within a day as apartment very hot this July.
Beautiful restaurants nearby.
Mini mart for essentials.
Bus stop and Funicolare very close to apartment.
No air conditioning or lift and steep steps up to 2nd floor .. four sets of tricky locks to get in and out of the apartment each time you entered or left.

A spacious, comfortable and beautifully renovated apartment full of the most interesting books in four languages (Italian, French, German and English) and just steps away from the Old Town’s bustling heart. Everything was spotless and Anna and staff ensured we had everything we needed including information, keys, parking, cookies, coffee, water and even wine to purchase. Perfect place to stay a while and discover the many treasures of Bergamo and the surrounding area.
