MaWilora Homestay Ella

MaWilora was a little piece of heaven! We were warmly welcomed by Madhusha and his family. The room and facilities were absolutely spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, definitely one of the best we’ve had during our trip! We also had some of the tastiest and most generous Sri Lankan food we’ve had since arriving in the country. Everything was delicious and prepared with great care. The mountain view from the room is beautiful and makes the place feel incredibly peaceful. Don’t be put off by the first impression of the house, as some renovation work is still in progress. Once inside, the room is beautiful, modern, extremely clean and comfortable. We strongly recommend MaWilora and would happily stay here again. Thank you Madhusha and your family for such a lovely stay! ❤️

Unsere Gastgeberinnen waren super lieb und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns jede Frage beantwortet, Empfehlungen gegeben und sogar eine Tour zum Sonnenaufgang mit uns unternommen. Das Abendessen war unglaublich lecker und ausgiebig, das Frühstück war perfekt - abwechslungsreich und frisch. Das Zimmer war sauber, hell und geräumig mit toller Aussicht. Das Bad war sehr ordentlich! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Danke Dilmi & Familie für diesen perfekten Aufenthalt!

We had such a lovely stay at MaWilora Homestay in Ella. The homestay is run by the sweetest family - Madhusha, Preethika and Lakni made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had beautiful views of the surrounding hills and greenery. The breakfast every morning was spectacular - fresh, filling, and absolutely delicious. The family was always available to help with anything we needed and made sure our stay was comfortable throughout. While the property is around 15 minutes from Ella centre, it’s still very accessible and feels much more peaceful away from the crowds. We also loved being close to Little Ravana Falls, which feels like a hidden gem compared to the more touristy spots. Overall, a wonderful stay and one we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Ella!
