We had such a lovely stay at Velora Hill Ella! The location was perfect for us, just a short tuk-tuk ride from the busy main street and all the attractions. Aruna, the owner, was so helpful and arranged tuk-tuks for us at a great price. The room was comfortable and clean, and having a kitchen was really handy. And the breakfasts were honestly the best we had during our entire month in Sri Lanka! Every day was something different, and the portions were so generous that we could never finish everything. The views were absolutely stunning, and we even spotted a mongoose, squirrels and lots of birds. What made our stay even more special was the kindness of Aruna and his lovely family. I was so touched that they got me a birthday gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I will always cherish it, along with all the lovely memories we made here. A huge thank you to Aruna and his family for making us feel so welcome and giving us such wonderful memories. We would happily stay here again!
