The views were amazing. The room was very comfortable and clean and lots of hot water. Location was great only about a 10 minute walk into town.
The staff didn’t warn us that there was construction so we ended up having to pay a Tuk Tuk instead of having our driver bring us to the hotel. The English breakfast wasn’t good.

We enjoyed our stay at Ella Mount View. Beautiful views from balcony and roof top. Good breakfast. Buddhi and staff were all helpful and assisted with transport arrangements etc.

The view is genuinely stunning. The staff were also helpful.
The area is remote so it was hard to get a driver who would take us down into Ella for food - and the hotel restaurant is quite simple. The only sell beer or bottles of wine ( not by the glass) in the bar, and the rooftop bar wasn’t open and didn’t look like it had been for a while. We also had issues with electricity in the rooms. Out of 3 rooms, only 1 had reliable electric. In my room, I had no electricity at all and just one dim light, so I had to charge my phone in my friends room.
