We had a fantastic stay at Ella Mount View - we were in the Deluxe Triple and Deluxe Double. The rooms were spotless and quiet, the beds were comfy, the views are to die for, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were tasty. We loved exploring the beautiful area in and around Ella and would happily stay again, in fact we very much hope to.

- Unbelievable view from the Deluxe Family Room - own balcony which looks out over the valley
- Spacious with a separate bedroom for the kids (and another sleeping area)
- Clean and largely insect free!
- Nice little walk along the train tracks to the town (although getting up the hill requires a tuk tuk with your suitcases)
- Good value for money

The view is genuinely stunning. The staff were also helpful.
The area is remote so it was hard to get a driver who would take us down into Ella for food - and the hotel restaurant is quite simple. The only sell beer or bottles of wine ( not by the glass) in the bar, and the rooftop bar wasn’t open and didn’t look like it had been for a while. We also had issues with electricity in the rooms. Out of 3 rooms, only 1 had reliable electric. In my room, I had no electricity at all and just one dim light, so I had to charge my phone in my friends room.
