Cozy Homestay

The owner was very nice, helpful, and accommodating! ANYTHING we needed he helped with, he even communicated with my tuk tuk company to arrange pickup. The breakfast we were served was amazing, and could easily feed 4 people, even though it was only my wife and I. The view was amazing from our deck, we felt we were in the middle of nowhere with a view across all the mountains, yet there is a short cut into town through his families property, that made the entire experience so much better. A quick 5 minute stroll through the neighborhood and you pop out into the main drag with tons of restaurants and shops…etc. even his recommendations in town were perfect, we ate at both of them, and returned to one of them 3 times. We travel a lot, and rarely stay at home stays, but this experience has made us re think how we travel, and we can’t wait to return. The bed was also super comfortable with a full mosquito net, even though we never saw a bug or mosquito! Highly recommend from us, and we are very picky:)

Family owner is super nice ! Really good breakfast. The place is well situated at only 5 min by feet (if you take the shortcut) to the restaurants of Ella town. We booked the budget room and got an upgrade to a larger room. We were the only customer.

It is a bit challenging to find the exact location but the owner helped us to arrive and came to pick us.

Upon arrival the enthusiastic owner welcomed us with a free upgrade to his best room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and big. Each morning you can choose between an english or sri lanka breakfast. We choose thr Sri Lanka breakfast which was very good and more than plenty. Overall one of the best of our trip. Would definitely recommend!
