Mount View Plaza - Ella Cottage with Mountain &Valley View

Incredibly peaceful stay. Newly constructed room with modern amenities that feel clean and comfortable. Amazing view, especially when having an absolutely delicious breakfast. Owners are simply the nicest!!!

We had such an incredible stay in this newly built, and very modern mini home. The location is stunning, with gorgeous views of the mountains and the passing train, plus easy walking distance to Ella Rock trail. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants, shops etc. Secondly, the house is extremely spacious and clean, with a gorgeous patio to enjoy the views with breakfast. The bathroom is huge with constant hot water available. The two beds are big and comfortable, we also appreciated the kettle and complimentary teas/coffees plus a fridge. The WiFi is also the best we've had in Sri Lanka so far. Finally, the family, who live a short distance down the hill in front of the accommodation, is extremely sweet, and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious with fruits, juice, hoppers, coconut pancakes and coffee. We also ordered dinner one rainy night and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend. We also did our laundry here which was great value and very quick. We loved it so much, we even extended our stay an extra night. Cannot fault this place and highly recommend!!
