New Farmers Paradise

Beautiful spacious room, with a modern large bathroom and a balcony with a terrific view. The kindest family run this property, they care and feed you so well. Fantastic dinner and breakfast, portion sizes were huge despite prices being very fair! The owners’ son arranged a scooter rental for us which was very helpful. Great location, you have the feeling of being out in the country side whilst a short walk along the train tracks takes you right into town within twenty minutes. Amazing value for money!

I’ve had the best time at New Farmers. I Even came back to Ella a second time, it’s the best. It’s a Little further down the road but totally worth going there especially because they will also organize you a scooter. 100% recommend!

The hosts, Damianti and Ari, are a really lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. Damianti made us delicious breakfasts and the dinners were great too, with so many fresh vegetables grown in their field. The view from the balcony is vast and it's a nice space to spend time in. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. You can access the rail tracks for an easier walk into Ella town centre in about 30mins (daytime only as the short path up/down to the railway is very steep). We walked from the door to do the Ella Rock hike, which was great. And in the other direction you can easily hike to the Nine Arches Bridge (via the town). Their son drove us to the station at the end of our stay, which was very helpful.

The outside area was nice as well as the location and the view. The breakfast was outstanding and the wife of the owner was very kind to us. The owner was funny and showed us his farm work and crops, which was very interesting.

The ceiling of our room was moldy. This caused bad smell in the room. But we also saw that he is working on new, very nice rooms. Even though the owner was nice to us at all times, he was a bit clingy sometimes, for example when we came back from trips, he was waiting in front of the property for us, even in the night. I think he wanted to be responsible, but it was a little bit too much. Once he invited us to a beer and gave us the impression that it was free, but at the end he charged us unexpectedly for the beer.
