Hotel location is great and pretty central. Hotel is pretty clean and staff was courteous and helpful. Hotel has an elevator but entrance have some stairs. Wifi is pretty good. AC in the room was not the best. I can't imagine how hot it can get in summer months. We visited end of September/start of October and we still got a little hot during the night. Opening the window did help. They also provided with a standing fan in the room which was helpful. Beds were comfortable but mattresses were a little on the softer side compared to a firm mattress.
One thing to mention about the washrooms which might be strange for some Travellers. The toilet is separate from the shower and wash sink. Toilet has a door but the shower and wash sink area don't have a door. Shower just have a shower curtain. I could see the wash sink from the bed. Not a deal breaker for me but this configuration for the washroom was a little strange to me.
One main issue that I ran into which is mostly on Agoda was related to tourism fee. Usually in my experience city tax/tourism fee is collected at the hotel. Agoda showed me at checkout that it is included in my total. I assumed Agoda is charging it directly on behalf of hotel. But at time of check-in in hotel charged it again. So far Agoda haven't resolved or answered this if city tax/tourism fee was not included why it was showed as included explicitly at the checkout. So keep this in mind while booking that you might be surprised with some extra amount to pay at the time of check in.

Hotel is very central and took less than 10 mins to walk to the centre square. Felt safe walking in and out during late hours. Room was clean and tidy. Lovely showers and pillows! Staff lovely too!

The hotel was good, had all the basics. However it was advertised as having a car park when there was none. Amsterdam is not cheap to park in so this was a bit of a shock.

My room was called a 'classic' single. More like basic. Semi basement. No refrigerator. No plugs either in bath or basin.
