The staff is so amazing - the ladies at the front desk are super!

You don’t need to think too much about it. It was comfy, friendly also free morning coffee really got me:)

Toilets and showers were small but okay i guess that is casual around Netherlands. It might make happier if towels and lockers should be free for guests.

The location and the facilities, smoking room good food and definitely value for money. Nice relaxing atmosphere with friendly people. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Great location and close to town,

The stairs

We arrived at 7 am and of course could not check in, but were immediately able to access the lockers (which cost extra). As a couple, it was great having a dorm with 2 person beds, although we were the only couple in the room. Showers were spacious and multiple available on every floor. There was plenty of space in the storage cages under the bed and the smokers room with a pool table was a nice place to hang.

The bathrooms were very cramped and usually not very clean. In general all hallways and stairs were very very small, but this seems to be the norm in Amsterdam. Unfortunately we didn't have any cool encounters with new people, as our roommates were either unsociable or did not speak English/German/Spanish and the crowd in the smokers room was what you would expect in an Amsterdam Hostel during the week. This is not the Hostels fault, just our experience. We weren't there long enough to really meet many people anyway.
