There were too many bedbugs, I killed about more 30 bedbugs, when I arrived at the hostel, I already found very 3 small bedbugs crawling on the bed sheet, the 5 English travelers who came before me left because of the bedbugs, I thought if I killed a few of them I could sleep at night, but at night about 50 bed bugs appeared crawling even on the room floor, I couldn't sleep at all, about 3am I left the hostel, when I went to Paris, I got bitten by the bedbugs from the princess hostel, I killed 3 bedbugs, even on the bus from Amsterdam to Paris, I killed 2 bedbugs, I couldn't sleep properly

THERE IS A SEVERE BED BUG INFESTATION 🚨🚨 AVOID THIS HOSTEL UNTIL THIS ISSUE IS FULLY RESOLVED. I am sharing this review to warn other travelers, especially solo travelers: PLEASE DO NOT book this hostel. I checked into Princess Hostel June 2026 and was assigned my bunk bed. After returning to the hostel around midnight, I discovered LIVE BED BUGS. I immediately took photos and videos and continued finding more throughout the night… MORE THAN A DOZEN LIVE BED BUGS. I NEVER SLEPT IN THE BED AND DID NOT USE THE ACCOMMODATION. I only moved the bedding to document the infestation and collect evidence. Because the room was completely uninhabitable, I was forced to pack all of my belongings and leave 3am. to find somewhere else to stay in the middle of the night during a thunderstorm. As a solo female traveler, this was an extremely stressful and unsafe situation!! My choices were either to pull an all nighter standing outside, or find another hostel. I was lucky enough to find another bed at 4am. Soaking wet from the rain, but bed bug free. I immediately reported the issue to princess hostel by email because the reception was closed overnight. There is no way to contact in case of emergency overnight. That is very concerning. The next morning, I spoke with the receptionist in person, provided documentation, and was told to contact management and Agoda regarding reimbursement. Despite the fact that I DID NOT STAY THE NIGHT, DID NOT SLEEP IN THE BED, AND COULD NOT USE THE ROOM DUE TO THE INFESTATION, THE HOSTEL DECLINED MY REQUEST FOR A REFUND. The bed bugs were not the only issue. I booked a female-only dormitory but was initially assigned to a room with one single bunk and another male guest occupying the bottom bunk. This took way more time than necessary to resolve. The bathroom was poorly maintained (poop stains), and the shower had either extremely low-pressure cold water or dangerously hot water. During my stay I also overheard of other guest who were having problem with theft. Someone else in the hostel was digging through peoples stuff and stealing money. When I visited reception the next morning, I saw other guests at reception reporting similar bed bug concerns, which was extremely alarming. ⚠️ TRAVELERS: PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THIS HOSTEL. A place to sleep should be clean, safe, and sanitary. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else until there is clear evidence this infestation has been addressed. I’ve been in 10+ hostels and have never once had an experience that caused me to vacate in the middle of the night like this one. I’m very disappointed that there was no compensation or refund for my time and lack of safety.
